Went again today :)

There were around 42-45 people in the theatre. It was 3D.

But only 3 theatres are showing it in my county. And I do not know how many will remain next weekend.

3 times, and it will be 4 times when it hits the discount theater (probably be sometime next month).

Seen it four times so far. Twice on opening weekend, and twice since. Only one showing was in 3D.

I agree with a lot of you; it is a film that requires repeated viewings. If you can, try to see it again; there's my two cents.

In the three times I saw it, the theater was not full. First time we went to a pretty late showing. Theater was about half-full. Second time there were about 30 people. Third time...I was the only one in the theater, and had to suffer through a Justin Bieber movie preview all by my lonesome :-s

Once, on opening night. I'd like to go again, but it probably won't happen. But I will watch it a million times on Bluray!

I saw it three times. I did enjoy the movie but found if necessary to view it a second time to fully get involved in the film. My third watch was merely to sit down and enjoy the movie as a whole. I did like it, and surprisingly the film had many viewers the first two times. The last time, there were like four people besides me and my parents. I think that it was due to the time, the presentation was at 3:30 p.m; not many people go to the theater at that time. The film is no longer in any of the cinemas of my country. If it were i would gladly give it another shot.

At the very least I was capable of watching it more the once, unlike PC which I just had only one viewing. By the way, I saw it the first time in 3D, the other two in 2D. I didn't really noticed much of a difference.

I agree completely. Multiple viewings=better experience. I liked the movie 10 times better the second time. And might I also add that in my theater, the first time (a large theater with 20 screens) there were 30 or so people. At this same theater, when I saw HP7 a few weeks earlier, on OPENING NIGHT there were only 7 other people in the theater. Just something to think about...

Now my second viewing there were only 4 other people (smaller theater with 5 screens).

I need another voting option... I'm not going to lie, I did not see VDT in theaters at all (wary of flying projectiles). Initially, I did plan to, but bad weather, holiday preparations, and other miscellaneous life moments happened. I guess subconsciously, I felt that there was not enough "quality" in the film to equal the ticket price. I had such high hopes and excitement for VDT's release and then slowly it all began to die. Just what exactly happened between LWW and PC to VDT? Can someone honeslty explain it to me? It feels like such a stab to the heart (I'm not a Harry Potter fan, so I was really looking forward to Narnia's successes and seeing all seven books on screen). "Return to Magic", nope, it's where the "magic" went to die.

True, I could very well be wrong. I have yet to see the film, so I can't really judge it. In benefit of the doubt, VDT could very well be the "best" film I could ever see... my gut instinct, however, tells me that I highly doubt it.

I would very much recommend that you see this film, Lions Emblem. It is a beautifully made film, dispite its unfaithfulness to the book! I saw it on Saturday the 11th December and the cinema was quite full. There was laughter and there was tears, and there was that mascara smudge moment at the end of the film. The second time round I saw It with my friends and we all agreed that it was a great film. As far as acting goes it was great- Will Poulter was fantastic- and If we want Silver Chair then VDT has to do well!
Its quite late now really and only very few cinemas are still showing VDT, so if you saw it more that once then lucky you! It is a film than needs multiople viewings!

Narnia is childhood...

If you don't want to see the movie, then that's fine.. but please don't judge the film negatively without seeing it. I think that unfair.

As much as some NarniaWebbers like glumPuddle complain about VDT, I have to give him props for seeing the movie 3 times. He gave the film a chance. To anyone who hasnt seen the movie, I would urge you to please follow his example while its at least still in discount theaters.

Saw it a third time in cinema in a nearby town, dubbed in Dutch (my mothertongue). It was in an old school cinema (no digital quality but still) with only me, the wife of the owner and their grandchildren in the room. No noise or talking during the film. I'm now really used to the pacing, it all flows well. Though i still want an extended edition.

So first viewing on 10th of December, the second on 2nd of January and third on 6th of February. I need 3-5 weeks between my viewings, otherwise it would be overkill.

Just found a theater in nearby San Antonio, TX that still has VDT in 3D so I'm sitting in the theater waiting for it to start, so I guess I will watch in a 6th time Woohoo!

Oh, I agree whole heartedly CorazonBandido55, and if I came off as being too judgemental of the film, I certainly didn't mean to sound that way. I'm not someone who goes to the movie theater all the time, so I pick and choose what I want to see perhaps a few times out of the year. My main point is that, while there were encouraging shots in the trailers and such for VDT, there wasn't enough "good" to make me say 'I want to see this film'. That's how I felt about the situation, good, bad or indifferent.

Thank you for the suggestion CharlotteRose. Although, I most likely will not see the film until April or thereafter.

I only watched it once. I watched both LWW and PC twice, and I would have watched them many more times in theatres if I had enough money to. I planned in seeing VDT at least twice to keep the record straight, but I honestly did not want to waste money on a money I didn't even like...even though it was Narnia!
Maybe I should have seen it again to better understand what I liked/didn't like about the movie, but I'll have plenty of opportunities to do that once I get the DVD. ;)
