A simple poll. Just choose the correct number. Be truthful. It does nobody any good to lie in this kind of poll . You can change your vote on this poll, so if you see it again after clicking on the poll you can come back to update.
Feel free to post about your experience at the theater watching the film, as well.

At the moment twice, because of exams. Otherwise i would have seen it a third time. I hope it keeps in theatres for 1.5 more weeks. 3 viewings for the 3rd Narnia would be great.
Four times, but I voted five because I'm seeing it again tonight before it gets removed from my local theater.

I've seen it two times, and I won't see it again till it comes out on dvd, I really want to see it in English (I've seen it in Russian so far)
always be humble and kind
twice for me!

Once and I don't feel compelled to see it again in the cinema. I'm hoping against hope that the DVD is a much extended edition (or at the very least has many deleted scenes).

Doctor Who - Season 11
I was the vote for Ten.
Twelve or Thirteen is more like it. I lost count, since I do not recall whether I went to watch it on New Year's Day or not.
Aravis Narnia,
Wow! You're a real trooper . I'm sorry I didn't have more options. Ten was the maximum allowed. Did you ever end up in the theatre by yourself?

1st time - midnight showing 12/10. What was this 56 yr old man thinking Just had to do it didn'tcha? Couldn't wait til a more sane hour when you could properly process the stimulii? Okay, sorry for the 3rd person outburst 3 out of 5 stars was my initial impression. I partly blame this forum for my discontent Man, did that movie really fly by. Up to the lone island scene I had this silly ecstatic grin on my face and then the sucker punches came
2nd time - afternoon 12/11. I had to have a redo now that I knew what was coming. The movie definitely slowed down and my impression went up a star. 4 out of 5
3rd time - don't remember the day. Wife and I went with our 32 yr old son. I realized that I needed to quit forcing the book into the movie and humble myself like a child so that I could be taught. Leah was becoming more beautiful 4.5 - 5 out of 5
4th-6th time - no movie fatigue. Wow! What is in this water that I'm drinking in with my eyes and ears. Hidden meanings, symbols (I teach HS Geometry), types are flooding in like the painting 5 out of 5 stars
I cast my vote with Mr. Gresham that this movie is God ordained.
Sibelius- I was never all by myself. There were always at least two other people with me. And that was in the earliest show of the day both times.
I will do anything for Narnia and for Aslan
I saw it once, but I'm seeing it again soon.

Audition For My Narnia Episodes!!
I saw the film 3 times. The first time was a prescreening with my dad. The second time was Sunday on opening weekend with my brother and sister who were both fans of the book. The third time was with my mother.
3 times was enough for me to notice and retain enough detail in order to analyze the film thoroughly with the forum members, and with every viewing I found myself liking the film less and less, so I don't think I will be seeing it again.
Interesting progression of thought, smartypie! I would have never guessed that the movie would be more enjoyable after repeated viewings.
I voted 3 times
first time I saw it was the Sunday after it came out, earliest showing so not many people were in the theatre, about 9 or 10 people, which I really enjoyed for a first showing, because we got the big screen and with fewer people it helped me get into the movie more, and since I was by myself watching it.
The second time I look my best friend, we were in a smaller theatre, but it was about half full and she really liked it, though we felt like we were the only people laughing
The third time I went by myself again- I wanted to see all the little things and just really watch it. There was a good amount of people in the room and laughed at alot of stuff, so I liked that
really every time I've see it I have very much liked the movie, some of the changes I could live without but for me having a VDT movie is better than no VDT movie at all, so did like the movie
NW twin to Georgiefan! NW sib to 22!
avvie by AslansChild thank you!!!
wow Aravis you saw it more than 10 times? Awesome! You are NarniaWeb's Dawn Treader Queen.. unless someone can top that.
As for me, I just came from my 5th screening of Dawn Treader and I just have to share this experience with someone.
I rushed to my local theater after work for the 9pm showing. So after I bought my ticket I am about to walk into to theater room #12 when a manager stops me and proceeds to ask me if I am going to watch Narnia: Dawn Treader. I tell him yes, and he tells me that they have been turning away people from watching Narnia because there is big green line running through the screen throughout the WHOLE movie (this theater still runs on film reels) and they aren't giving refunds for anyone dissatisfied with the movie. Then my memory recalls seeing a big green line on the screen the last time I watched the movie. My first reaction is "bummer, a lot of potential ticket sales lost for Narnia" since this is a one-theater town. So because of the infamous green mark, I ended up being the only person watching the movie.
Then the movie starts while I notice that the theater room lights are still on... ok, not an ideal viewing situation, but they will turn off, right? ... Wrong, they were on for the whole movie. And just as the Pevensies are in the Silver Sea, the cleaning lady for the theater decides to come into the theater room and stand next to me and talk to me.
"omp have the lights been on the whole movie?" she asks.
"wow that crazy, that wouldnt be a fun way to watch a movie.. yadda yadda..", and I'm looking at her thinking "Seriously? Im trying to watch a movie here". I tried not to pay much attention to her, but by the time she left, the children were already walking down the portal back to their world.
Well, if nothing else, I walked out of the theater room and she says "thats such a good movie", which I agree with, but still
Well anyways, the theater manager had told me before the movie that it is 'old and will be gone after tomorrow', so I guess I will have to travel out if I want to see it anymore times.

Wow Corazon! That sounds to me like bad customer service, rather than a bad film. Whether or not you like the movie, you should have some expectations from the theatre that it will be delivered faultlessly, and that you won't be intruded upon by staff. Our local cinema, when there was a problem with its screening of Little Fockers, shut the cinema down, offered refunds or maybe free tickets to other movies, such as VDT.
I saw VDT 5 times. The first was with my family on Dec 4th and the next was the first screening on Sunday 12th Dec. The following weekend (18th Dec) I found myself sharing the theatre with a bunch of Generation X'ers, not quite Baby Boomers like myself. I visited it again after Christmas on Dec 28th and a fifth time before it went off, the Saturday before last. There were at least 20 people per viewing, and on some occasions the theatre was as well attended as the Harry Potter movie also being screened. For a couple of weeks HP and VDT were equal in Oz takings, and attendances. At no time did I have to watch the movie on my lonesome.
I'm hoping against hope that the DVD is a much extended edition (or at the very least has many deleted scenes).
I hope you are right. I'd find extras and deleted scenes on a VDT DVD most interesting to see.
