I saw it 4 times...
The first time I saw it was at the really big V max cinema, 2D it was a full house. The next time I saw it was 3D in a regular cinema, it was quite full, I suppose only the first three rows were free. The next time I saw it was in 3D again and there was about fifteen people there, and the last time I saw it in 2D there was about ten people there, with a little kid doing really loud commentary of the film ><
Midnight Premiere (2D):
I went with four other friends and there were probably about 10-15 others.
The Friday following at 1:30 pm (3D):
I went with four others and there were only about 5 others present. This viewing also had subtitles.
Overall, the reaction seemed great-- lots of laughs in the appropriate places and everything.

Today's 3:35 3D show at the 24-theatre multiplex had...
90+ people!!!!!
I was very pleasantly surprised- ok, so that is an understatement. When I got there, there were no remaining seats in the back, so I had to sit on front. And I was not late and people were coming in after me. It was the only screen showing it, so no other counts for today.
It is very meaningful to me to watch VDT for the 7th time on Christmas Day. And this was the best Christmas present I have received this season.
EDIT- More AWESOME news!!!
I went to the 20 screen multiplex near my house to watch another movie (the ballet one) and counted the two Narnia shows.
6:40 2D- SOLD OUT!!!- Yes, it said so at the ticket office. 96 people!
9:35 2D- 35 people at 9:40 during previews, plus a few entering.
This is the best Christmas present- it truly is. And I talked to my best friend today and begged her to go watch VDT and take as many people as possible- to make it my Christmas gift. Also told another friend about it, but not as persuasively.
My theater was pretty much empty. There were about three other families. There was six families, but three of them left...
During most of the movie, they were talking to eachother and shifting around in their seats anxiously. But at the end, three people, I think, clapped.
Afterward, I heard a teenage girl and guy talking to eachother about it afterward. He said he liked the movie, but didn't want to read the book. The girl laughed and said, "Yeah, I read all those books when I was a kid." Then I think she might have rolled her eyes, but I'm not sure on that.

Today's shows at the 20 screen theatre inside the mall in the west part of the county.
1:10 3D- 15 people
1:40 2D- 60 people
3:55 3D- when I counted at 3:45, there were already 12 people there, plus others entering it, so I do have high hopes.
Doubt I can go again today. I have to sweep, mop, and vacuum my little pink house.
My friend and I were the only ones in the theater I went to.

I just saw it tonight, the theater was more full than I expected - probably about 1/2 of one of the smaller screens at our theater.
A friend in Texas (I think a Dallas suburb) said on Facebook that she and her husband were planning on seeing VDT, but that it was sold out.
I told her to please still go see VDT some other time
I just saw it for the third time today and the theater was packed!
everyone loved it - they laughed, cried, freaked out!
it was awesome!

Saw it for a second time.... the theater was packed!
I saw it on Monday and the theatre was 2/3 full. There was a lot of laughter throughout, and some sniffles at the end.
When I went to see it last week the it was about half full. It may have been a little less. I got there late (I missed the first couple minutes ) and it was pretty dark so I couldn't really tell, but when we all got up to leave it looked about half full.

They relegated it to one of the smaller screening rooms when I went last night. And there were maybe 30+? people in the room. Someone wanted to see the 3D version but they took that screen away from the particular theatre I go to. They went from about 5 screens on opening weekend to just this one screen last night.

Around 20 or 25 people in the theater when I saw the midnight premiere . I'd say around four groups of people. Not a responsive group lol, but about 8 people sat around during the last bit of credits and discussed the movie and their likes and dislikes .
I want to go see it again on a packed day (as thats always the most fun lol) sometime in early janurary, any advice on what day and 3D or no?

I went to see it today at a complex where I had not been to since 2004- still inside my county. It was a HUGE screen where I was able to notice things I had not seen before- such as the mirrors on the door to Ramandu's house, and Aslan roaring in the fire.
It was the 7:35 showing. It was in 3D- only one being shown in the 20-screen complex.
It had 85 people. Tickets were 14 dollars for adults. At least half of them were adults.
WOOT!
