I want at a 5:20pm showing with 10 friends and the theater was half full (about 50 people). But the 2:00pm showing before that was sold out! :) (Both in 2d)

There were about twenty other people in the theater. Too bad!

I have seen it two times and both times the theater was almost full (that made me happy! :) ) Anyway, people seemed to like it and laughed a lot.

I saw it once, on opening night at 7:15, in a very small college town. One person I talked to before at school was surprised that our theater was even showing something the day it came out, so that goes to show how small our town is.

The theater was surprisingly full for this small of a town, about a little more than half-ish full. The response was pretty good, with most of the laughs from Eustace and some laughs from the "No!" line. Unfortunately, being in a small theater in a small town, we had some technical difficulties and lost sound twice in the middle of the sea serpent scene for a few seconds or so (grr). I'll have to see it again when I go home for Christmas, since my home is a bigger city with much bigger and better theaters. Still need to see it in 3D, anyways.

The theatre was about 75% filled (I live in Belgium). I was quite surprised... That was on the 3th day it was out here :) I going again during the holidays, I'm curious how many people'll be there than :)

Hmmm, I watched it in 3D, but few only attended. Maybe most were in the 2D since 3D is expensive but lots love the movie. It left us breathless but suddenly it was brownout while the credits were being rolled, too bad! Cause we were loving the song!

Like Sandy I also saw VDT in 3D. I was actually surprised at how full the theater was, but it wasn't completely packed, probably because 3D is a lot more expensive. I can only hope that the 2D showings were packed to the brim. ;)

I didn't stop to actually count how many there were but I would say that the theater was a little less than half full. It's hard to judge the amount when everyone was so spread out and all you can remember is the empty seats in between. :p

The general reaction of the audience was good. Everyone laughed when they were supposed to, particularly at the "I can change forms" scene and many of the Eustace scenes. Other than that, I was too involved in the movie to notice. :p

First 2D showing on Friday the 10th at about 6 about 7-8 people. Saw it with two friends in an old 1970's multiplex theater. Not many there for the other movies playing there either. Then Saturday I went alone to a local theater and there were only 45-50 for a 2D showing at about 4:40pm.

There just wasn't enough time or people to generate a lot of bad word of mouth so there was just a big lack of interest for whatever reason or reasons. :(

I saw it yesterday in 2D at a 4:20 showing, and including my mother and my brother and myself, there were about 12-15 people there. Never was able to get a good count, so I'm not 100% sure. Overall the mood was mellow with a few laughs here and there. People seemed to be mostly engrossed in the film.

there were about 35-45 people in my theater when i saw it on Saturday December 11th, at 7:30, which means a lot considering there were only 12 other people when i saw HP 7 on opening night!!! :D

I have seen the movie 4 times now, and yesterday I went with some friends and the cinema was empty, but we went to go and see the 2d version, as two of my friends had already seen the 3d version but the 3d version yesterday shown at the same time had about 20 people in it :)

I just saw it today (in 2-D) I'd say there were +/- 40 people there, about 2/3-1/2 of the theater...
