I went to a prescreening in 3D, and the theater was completely full. But, it was a free screening and it was in California... if that explains it.

I saw it at the midnight viewing on opening day and their were about six people including myself. But I watched in 2D and did see people going in the 3D version.
I went to a theater yesterday that sat 500 poeple and it was packed. BTW most people "boooed" when Caspian implied Susan.

I went at midnight in a very small theater. So there weren't very many people. I was glad: I wouldn't be too bothersome with my squeals of excitement. Yes, I'm 20. Yes, I squealed over a children's story. It was fun

I saw it in 3D at a midnight showing, and the theater was pretty empty -- not even half full, I don't think. I've been to two other midnight showings in my life, and both of those were packed. So yeah, doesn't sound like many are going to see it.
The audience was fairly unresponsive, too. There were laughs at the corny "I can change forms" bit, but not at the Dufflepuds. No taste these days.

I saw it in 3D on Saturday, at 11:00 AM - not exactly prime movie-going time. Anyway, I went with my siblings and a few friends; there were seven of us total. Other than us, there was only one other group of people in the theater; they came in just as the movie began so I didn't notice how many they were, but they couldn't have been more than five. Other than that, the theater was completely empty.

I went in the afternoon on Friday (during school hours), after a snow dump, in a small town, and there were maybe 20 people there. Saw a lot more cars outside another theater on the way home, so I assume the later showings were fuller.
And one of the three screen at my theater was sold out.
Prime time, Friday night - 3D. The theater was less than half full, but the audience seemed to enjoy the film. Lots of laughter. Clearly, these were Narnia fans, as there was plenty of "not in the book" discussions during and after the film. I think more folks were coming out of the 2D theater, which is where I would have been if my 6 year old hadn't wanted to see 3D first.

There were roughly 40-something people in the theater when my sister and I went to a mid-afternoon showing on Saturday afternoon. We went to the 2D and there were two 3D showings that had started either an hour or 30 minutes before hand. Most of the people in there looked like they had read the books as kids (it was mostly couples, although a few people brought their kids). There was very little audience response during the film. There was an occasional chuckle but there was never a time when we all laughed at once. Most of the time everyone just sat in silence (except my sister and I, of course, we kept putting our thumbs up or down about every five minutes).
One person did start clapping at the end of the movie, but he stopped when he realized nobody else was. The people behind us seemed to like it the most (they laughed more than anyone else and afterward they said it was better than the first two).
I saw it December 10 at a 4:25pm showing their was about 25 to 30 people in the theater.
I saw it tonight, 2D, and there were maybe...10? of us in the theater. But it was a Monday night, with really horrid bad weather.

The theatre I was in was about half-full. Something around 50 people. Mostly families. Considering it was Monday and mid-day when everyone was working, and that the weather was unpleasant, it was a decent showing. And we only watched the 2d version. I have no idea how many people were watching the 3D version in the theatre room next to ours.

I have seen the movie twice, the first time I saw it was the first day it opened here in Australia, and there was about 70 people but the first two session of the day had already been filled and the second time there was about 50 people aswell Hopefully going to go again and see it with friends who havent seen it yet

I have seen it twice. The first time was when I went with my family it was in 3D and the theatre was about 2/3 full. As it was early Saturday afternoon there were quite a few children, some of them quite small. Maybe about 70 or 80 people. There were no people sitting in the front seats near the screen as there would be if the theatre was packed.
The second time there were about 20 or more people in the theatre. This was the first showing on a Sunday morning of the 2D version. It is the first time I have ever heard the Lord's prayer being recited before the trailers at the beginning of the movie when I visited a cinema on a Sunday morning.
People on both occasions were fairly silent, though there was some laughter at Eustace and Reep's antics in the first one. The second one there was a sense of solemnity and thoughtfulness. I wasn't teh only one who was a bit weepy at the end scenes.
I went on a Saterday at 12:20 and the theater was practically full!
