I'm curious as to how all of you feel about the Narnia movies thus far. This poll may not be terribly accurate seeing as how I know a lot of former NarniaWebbers who were disgusted by a movie and then left the site, or at the very least don't visit GMD anymore, but I figure I'd start this poll anyways.
How many of Walden's Narnia movies have you liked/disliked so far? And feel free to list in your post which movies and why.
I really liked The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. I loved Prince Caspian, it's still my favorite of the three. The Voyage of the Dawn Treader was a miss in my book. I was pretty disappointed with that film on most levels. So that's two out of three for me.
I love LWW, Seeing it for the first time, well it just screamed Narnia the entire movie. The faithfullness to the book was awesome and some of the additions really worked well. (Edmund/Tumnus scene especially)
Prince Caspian is a weird one for me, I liked it at first, and then I began to dislike more with each rewatch. Then more recently I began to like it more every single subsequent rewatch. The Narnian and Telmerine Characters are so well done. The first half especially is great. The biggest drawback for me is Peter and Susan, both who I really disliked in PC.
VODT I didn't like. It had its moments, but it was so bogged down by the poor plot and rushed storyline that I couldn't enjoy it.
So I voted for 2 out of 3.
Protector of the Birds and Beasts of Middle Earth.
I like all 3 of them. Favorite is VDT, then LWW, then PC. But I like those 3 books in that order, so I am not surprised.
All three are very cool! I love LWW and PC the same, but VDT is definitely my favorite right now, even with its flaws!
I really like all 3! there are points in each I dont enjoy as much in each one(besides LWW) but as a whole I love them each and I am very happy they all have been made!
NW twin to Georgiefan! NW sib to 22!
avvie by AslansChild thank you!!!
I like all 3, but VDT is by far the worst in the series. And PC is my favorite.
Thanks to the Walden movies i got introduced to the Narnia books. I love all the 3 movies, never disappointed me despite some changes.
I only liked LWW and VDT. Prince Caspian was my least favorite due to many factors, so I was apprehensive about VDT.
I voted that I liked/loved all three! I adored LWW and it's still my favourite in the series, though Prince Caspian comes very close. If it wasn't for the added romance and Peter's personality changes I'd probably like it just as much as LWW.
With VDT, I struggled a bit over some aspects of it (and I might be a grumpy guts and complain about those aspects quite a bit)...but there are enough brilliant bits to make me like the film overall!
I stand with the Lord at my side, always.
For Narnia and the North!
Be the change you want to see in the world.

The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe was one of the best adaptations of a children's classic. It touched me because i had always been a big fan of LWW and was dying to see a faithful big screen movie.
Prince Caspian the movie was actually better than the book, and from a filmaking standpoint it was better made then LWW. With the exceptions of a few poor lines and the song/kiss at the end it was really good.
Voyage of the Dawn Treader...in comparison...well, it sucked.
Winter Is Coming
I LOVE them ALL. The changes might sometimes be annoying, but for me, they are bearable.
"I'm a beast I am, and a Badger what's more. We don't change. We hold on. I say great good will come of it... And we beasts remember, even if Dwarfs forget, that Narnia was never right except when a son of Adam was King." -Trufflehunter
I voted for liking/loving two of them. I loved LWW and overall liked VDT (loved some bits of it). PC I only liked some portions of and didn't watch as many times as I did LWW and VDT. VDT had so much potential I want to love it up along there with LWW for the great movie it might have been (that may sound a bit odd, but that's how I feel about it despite its flaws).

Loving all three so far! cant wait for a fourth, i thought they were fantastic addaptions, and when you have to adapt a book that millions have read the preassure is really on, and i thought they have been very well done so far!
In the grand scheme MOVIES ARE NOT IMPORTANT, people are important, Love one another and treat eachother how we would like to be treated ourselves!
I voted for two of the movies so far. Actually when I looked at the thread, I was expecting something else with this poll before I clicked on the link. Something like a comparison between VDT, Bridge of Terabithia, Amazing Grace etc., rather than LWW, PC and VDT.
But since it is Narnia movies alone, I voted for two of the three made so far. I don't think LWW was horrible at all. It was a good, enjoyable production. But it was an ever so predictable choice to make for a big company like Disney, with a history of making popular, well-known children's classics. Therefore I can give it a miss.
So I picked PC and VDT. PC, because at least it was made, and it was in so many ways a long way better than either the book, or the only other media attempt to make this particular Narnia episode. I still hope that one day Disney looks back at its short-sightedness, and groans at its popularist idea of classics.
And VDT is an emotional choice because whatever its flaws, we are lucky to have it. It is not a movie that has been done to death on TV shows, radio, theatre/puppet shows or any other medium open to public viewing, and I enjoyed watching it, and still do. Furthermore, we nearly missed out on having it, until Fox came to the rescue, and may still miss out on further sequels.
Walden's real test comes with Silver Chair if it is made, in my opinion. This is the last of the four movies so far that has been at least televised.
I loved all three of them, and I even think that they can get away with making the Silver Chair on a $100-130 million budget if it does surface with the same quality as the first three movies.
