[Closed] Expectations on deleted scenes

I hope nothing like this, a general thread of thoughts and suppositions on VoDT deleted scenes, hasn't yet been opned. If it was and I skipped it while scrolling to check, I'm very sorry

Right-o, what do you expect from the titles and news/gossips on the deleted scenes included in VoDT DVD? Anything you wish to share is welcome here :D

First off, I'm curious about the enigmatic (to me at least) title "Eustace II"... perhaps it's a widely known thing that I just missed :p

Also, I have some thoughts on the "Caspian's doubt" scene. I wonder if it's an all-unseen moment of Caspian's semi-temptation, his moment of weakness alike to the ones Edmund, Eustace and Lucy head, just without the literal temptation, or is it - for which I hope! - an extension of the 10-second scene with him raising one of the swords and hesitating whether the Lords reached Ramandu's island while Edmund watches him from the balcony. I certainly hope for the latter, it seems plausible that this would be an extension of this scene, plus it could give us some additional Caspian/Edmund bonding which I so much loved in the movie! :D I was endeared by their friendship and brotherly attitude, including their brief spat at the Deathwater pool.

Thoughts? Expectations? Regrets?

I thought the "caspian's doubt" scene would take place when Drinian was asking if they should turn around during the storm, or continue on. But i like your idea, Beginte, much better. It must be an extension to what is known as the "10 Second Scene".

I thought the "Eustace II" was a typo :-? and misread and is really supposed to say "Eustace is Ill"? So I pretty much expect a deleted scene (as others have mentioned they've seen hints) with Lucy administering her cordial to him.

Thanks, Trufflehunter, glad you like my idea :D I considered some other possibilities for that scene, but placing it in that discussion never occurred to me, because through all that scene Caspian was very staunch and silent and only waiting to cut Drinian's doubts with the argument about Rhince's family.

Oooh, that's interesting, stateofgreen, I didn't think of that! I so hope you're right, I'd love to see the cordial treatment and some more of Eustace under the deck and being seasick. And if it's not a typo, I seriously am at a loss as to what could it be... :- A different way of introducing Eustace into the movie? I mean, something else than opening his character with the diary scene?

As per the "Caspian's Doubt", I also thought that it might be a scene connected to the deleted "Mutiny" scene... Caspian slumping down because his crew goes 'no' on him.

I was thinking that Eustace II was the part where he is ill and Lucy uses her cordial...partly because i read that somewhere but also because otherwise she doesn't actually use it in the film so what is the point in her getting it back?
As far as the Caspians douct scene goes, I have no idea but an extention to the 10 sec scene would make sense.

Right, I too was thinking vaguely about the seasick Eustace being the enigmatic "EustaceII" scene, because I see no other explanation (other than an alternative way of introducing him to the film, but I really would love a deleted scene much better than an alternate one), but if it's not this, I'm really very curious what other scene this could possibly be! :D

As per "Kids in Naria...", I think it's the scene of the Pevensies in Narnia clothes which we've seen in the trailer. It's rumoured to last 28 seconds, which I think is quite long, because when you count off 3 seconds for start and end black screen, 25 seconds is quite some time when you look at a clock and imagine how much dialogue/shots could fit into this time.
