If there is an evil mist in this film I will scream. Why do they feel the need to add all these new plots to great books!

I had a thought on this whole "Evil Mist" idea while watching the BBC Voyage of the Dawn Treader tonight. Perhaps they intend on making the "evil mist" the cause of bad dreams coming true, rather then the Dark Island. So when the "mist" takes over Narnia it will actually cause everyone to go nearly crazy as all their "bad dreams" come true. I'd still be completely against it, of course, but it would add a more interesting dynamic to the film, imo, and would be loads less cheesy than just having some dark, evil mist invade Narnia. But then, perhaps you all had this idea in mind from the beginning, and I'm just slow on the draw.

Yeah, to be honest, as soon as I saw "evil mist" I thought of the dark island. To me, it still seems like way to much cheese.

that's a possibility! I hope it's something like that and not just some lame evil mist thing like a cartoon.....

I'm starting to think that this "darkness", whatever it may be, would be completely tolerable as long as it's still wiped away by THE albatross (which is even a concept they stuck to in Caspian). Nothing happens without Aslan. If they can stick with that I think I can handle whatever warped cinematic adaptations they could do to it.

^^ and I think that will be in this movie even more than the others if the advertising is to be believed! it looks as if Aslan has a big role in this movie and I am glad about that! so in the context of the movie, Aslan might have called Lucy, Edmund, and Eustace into Narnia to help wipe out whatever this "evil mist" is.....

That is a scary thought. Lets hope the focus of Aslan on the new poster means a huge focus on him in the movie *crosses fingers*

I have to agree with Liberty Hoffman. that would indeed go way too far, but I hope RD will have something to do with joining Caspian in a battle if it comes down to one, but other then that I hope your imagination does not come true
