Yes, but Eustace falling off a cliff and Aslan blowing him to Narnia was the very first thing that happened to them after they walked through.

I'd say falling off a cliff is worse than sinking in the ocean. Especially a cliff as high as the one described in SC! So, the scene in VDT will be nothing compared to what Eustace has to look forward to in SC. Of all the people who get to Narnia, it seems that Eustace gets the worst, huh?

Actually, Digory and Polly took a detour in Charn and came face to face with Jadis so maybe they had the worst... but that's Charn, not Narnia, so I guess it doesn't count in this discussion.

At least they won't have to try to find a more dramatic way to transport the kids to Narnia in SC. It's hard to come up with something more dramatic than being blown to Narnia on a lion's breath; I'm sure they'll probably overdo it though, turn it into a tornado or something.

^^ the blowing breath is only half of it! it would be hard to find anything more dramatic than Eusatce falling off the cliff in the first place!

I've actually thought/feared for a while that if they think they need to change any of them, they'd change the entry of SC into something more dramatic. I mean, yeah, falling off a cliff and being blown to Narnia is an extremely dramatic thing to experience; but to watch on a movie? It may look silly. Now, I'm all for sticking to the books, but that whole scene seems like something Hollywood would be prone to change. Let's send a message out now: whatever you do, no tornadoes, please!

Maybe they'll make Aslan roar and have Eustace magically fly/ dive of the cliff until he gets near the bottom then float safely to the ground... or have Aslan breathe like he did in the book and in the LWW castle/battle scenes, whatever they do, I hope its better than BBC's version.

Yes it HAS to be better than BBC. That was so cheesy and fake. *shudders*

So was the entrance for VDT in BBC... at least the Walden/Fox version sounds way cooler so far.

^^ yeah, the way anyone enters Narnia in the BBC versions is ALWAYS cheesy! if Walden can't beat that, then they should drop Narnia! they will definitly beat it!
