In VDT, they replay a part of the storm sequence twice. It is rather funny since the mast crashes down during the sequence, so they end up losing it twice.

I don't think that's technically an inconsistency because the second time it's a recap of what happened in the last episode.

That would make sense if it was being divided by episode, but on the DVD it repeats without a break in between. They had to have done some editing to remove the credits that should have rolled between the two sections so they should have been able to remove the extra storm sequence.

Oh, okay. That's interesting. I have the VHS and that has the credits at the end of every episode.

An inconsistency that has always annoyed me is Edmund in the Turkish Delight scene. His chewing doesn't always match up from shot to shot. He keeps having a different amount of Turkish Delight in his hand and he's not chewing fast enough to have eaten the piece that fast.

^^ yeah, I noticed that too! it's REALLY annoying!

The only other bit that distracts me is trying to decide if the continuity is ok in the courtyard shot just before the farewell scene of PC. A girl walks past Caspian, filmed from two different angles - there's a slight delay in it and I never quite feel comfortable with it. And I TELL myself not to take any notice....

it's funny how you sometimes don't notice anything but then someone points it out and then it bothers you to no end!!!

I might be just over thinking it or not listening correctly, but in PC during the final battle both Caspian and peter are counting off:

Above Peter will say: ONE, TWO
and then it goes under for Caspian: THREE, FOUR
and so on, at times the seconds in between these shots are longer than what it would take a person to count off a number yet they still keep together.

If, say, several extra second pass between shots, and you last said FOUR, then at least jump ahead in the numbering to SIX or SEVEN so it matches with the timing of the shots.

^^ this I have also noticed and it drives me crazy every time!!!!!

narnian1: I know! I noticed that before! Soooo annoying. There's like on time they stop after a number for like 5 seconds and then it just continues!

^^ and did you notice that when Lucy enters Narnia, Peter is still at number 95.....so when she comes out, he should still have been counting or finding Susan! he and Susan come to find them too soon!!!!

^^not necessarily. It was supposed to be at least a few seconds...maybe even a minute she was in Narnia...
