So, what do you think? Based on all of the different news facts, what's your diagnosis- and why? How do you feel about the feel being made or not?
I have to say- I don't know, but I'm hopeful. I think they might just do it! So...Yes! I can't wait! I'm really excited for the opportunity to see the next installment, and I know that for many Narnia-Webbers SC is their favorite book.
But what do you think??

I honestly don't know. It looks pretty good for SC right now but I don't want to get my hopes up as we don't even know how much VDT needs to make for SC to get greenlit.
If it does I will be very happy but a little nervous as to how it will turn out. After all, PC and VDT are my least favorite books, but I LOVE all the others. SC has to be done properly!

Agreed. I want them to make it so badly but I don't know if the numbers are good enough. My wish is that Fox be merciful and have some faith that the next one will do better if they can only get everything right (story, enough budget, good actors, great visual/special effects this time.)

I think it will be made....VDT has not been out a month yet...there is always hope!
"We have nothing if not belief"
I voted it will be but it shouldn't. They ruined VDT in my opinion. But SC will probably be made anyway, considering how the producers seem to think the franchise has been "ressurected".
I hope SC isn't as big a disappointment as VDT and PC was...

I have honestly no idea, but I'm leaning a bit more to the assumption that they won't make it.
Winter Is Coming
I think they will. After this past weekend's budget, people are saying that it looks good for the Narnia series.. I'm hopeful, as SC is my favorite book in the series!

I think (and I hope) it'll be made. SC might be easier to adapt then VDT was (or so they say), and I think there won't (or better onot) be as big of changes. Long live Narnia!
Well, according to a lot of different sources in the media, SC would be greenlit if VoDT did better than PC, which, it has! It still hasn't beat LWW for first week numbers, but it's close! I really can't wait for SC, I think it will be great!
I have heard that Walden Media does not plan to produce all seven, and very likely no more than four...so, I doubt there will be any more after that...but it sure would be awesome to see the Horse and his Boy in theatres!

Angelwings_the_Faun,
Where did you hear that they are only making 4 movies?!

Actually, VDT has NOT done better than PC so far. Yes, there are a few countries where VDT has outgrossed PC but overall VDT is still significantly behind PC. I am worried for the future of this franchise. But lets not lose hope. Maybe, just maybe they might greenlight SC since the budget was much less than PC. Lets see what happens.

I voted "I have no idea". I don't know what the standards are that VDT has to meet in order for SC to be greenlit, and nobody else does either. So until we get more information or SC is greenlit, I have no idea.
I also haven't got a clue, but I sincerely hope it is (although you probably guessed that already ) I'll be heartbroken if it isn't.

I honestly have no idea... One day it seems like the box office is good, and then someone else says it's no good... One day I can't stand the pacing issues and how poorly adapted the movies are so , but then the next day I'll love the castle raid in PC and the ending of VDT... Overall, bipolar feelings and reviews towards the movie have me confused of what will actually happen...
But of course I'd always love another Narnia movie

Well, if VDT has gone the way of The Golden Compass and Eragon, but it hasn't! Considering it's poor opening weekend, the movie has done quite well! The question of course is whether it can do well enough.
I voted for "I have no idea". I seriously think there's about a 50/50 chance the series will continue. We'll probably have to wait until Fox sees the DVD sales before we know what they will do.
