Here is a deleted scene that I thought would have fitted perfectly in the movie:

discuss!
Wow, I wish they hadn't cut it out. It reminds of the book, where the crew doesn't want to sail to the End of the World. Who was it, Rhince who persuaded most of them, except Pittencream, to go on? This would've helped show some of that in the movie (besides that in the movie, the reason for going on is different ). I don't know what I think about Drinian saying "Mutiny" about it, but I wish this and other good deleted scens would've been used.
I love how it seems as if they cut the ending of a cut scene
Why'd they cut it?!!!!! I liked this one!!!!! I want an extended edition! And this scene better be in it!!!
EDIT!!!!! Did someone accidentally delete this thread? cause it just disappeared and reappeared... and there are 4 or 5 others who noticed... Just curious... I'm just making sure its not the gremlins...
Edit 2! Ignore the above edit... Lady A just explained it to me Never fear the gremlins are not here
"The mountains are calling and I must go, and I will work on while I can, studying incessantly." -John Muir
"Be cunning, and full of tricks, and your people will never be destroyed." -Richard Adams, Watership Down
Very good! No surprise that they cut out some of the better parts of the movie.

This scene would have been great if it was in the film.
Long Live King Caspian & Queen Liliandil Forever!
Jill+Tirian! Let there be Jilrian!
I love how it seems as if they cut the ending of a cut scene
.....
It does look like it was just a snippet of a longer deleted scene. And this is only on the blu-ray? I don't have a blu-ray player. The scene showed some actual in-depth substance for once.

As much as I like this deleted scene, it is useless to me if it is not integrated into the film.. Still hoping for an extended edition. But this scene isn't enough for me to want to go buy a blu-ray player.

This mutiny scenario would have added a whole new layer of drama to the film. I'd almost accept any new scenes, particularly ones with dialogue and good substance like this one, put back in as it would help to fix the insanely rushed feel of the theatrical version. Chances are we won't get an extended version, but this is a movie that definitely needs one (unlike the silly and pointless LWW extended edition).

Peter: I hunch.
Mary Jane: Don't.
This scene was just as good as any scene that is in the movie currently! Why did they cut it? Where do you all think it would have gone?

I like the concept of this scene, but the execution is horribly flawed. Throughout the entire scene Caspian is looking to others to do his job for him. Drinian shows more leadership in the scene than Caspian does. Caspian is an accomplished warrior at this point. He's not supposed to be acting like the inexperienced prince anymore. If he were that unsure a leader, no one would ever have followed him on a sea voyage into uncharted territory.
I have to agree. Caspian looks like a marshmallow here. There is more than one place in the movie where Drinian seems to have more authority than Caspian. Even so, Caspian was stronger than this throughout the rest of the movie. I would have loved to see his speech form the book. The one where he basically calls them all cowards and turns something they don't want to do into a privelege they don't want to be left out of. I like Ben Barnes and I think he could have done that bit of dialog very well.
I think this scene fits well with the theme of Caspian being a bit unsure of his leadership, as referenced by Caspian seeing his father's spirit in Dark Island. I dont think its flawed at all. Besides, this scene looks like only a part of a larger deleted scene. I wouldn't be surprised if Caspian ends up speaking to his crew later on in this scene, which of course we do not see.

ooh, that was epic!
CorazonBandido55: Tony Nixon (who played Rynelf) said on his facebook page that this scene is actually longer than this clip shows, and he is hoping for a director's cut!

I don't know something about this scene was off for me. I agree with Bookwyrm too Caspian is acting very powerless as if yes waiting for someone to his job for him so in a way i'm glad this was not in the film.
Well, I think Caspian is supposed to be shown as powerless in that scene to contrast with the scene at the Dark Island where the men support him. Too bad they cut the mutiny scene out.
