I think it's time to start a thread compiling movie reviews of various types. 
I personally will be holding off on posting any on the front page until Tirian gets his report up (which will hopefully be later today) but I suspect many more reviews will start pouring in very shortly.
To start off with, AslansCountry did a very nice report last night compiling tweets and reviews that have already been out for a day or two. Most of them we've seen already, but there were a few new ones to me. That can be seen here....

Truly encouraging stuff! I am in awe at the praise the movie is getting =')
And what is this about the credits featuring Pauline Bayne's illustrations?

Yeah, I saw that! I wonder if they'll have the movie stills and pauline's illustrations side by side...

Are these all the reviews or are you just posting the positive ones, if there are any negative ones I would like to know what it is they don't like.

I'm really looking forward to seeing Tirian's review. Hopefully it will be up soon.

I can not wait to see Tirian's review. So far I've only been hearing mostly good reports

I wish we could hear a review from a diehard book purist. I would love to know what they think, though it would probably be mostly negative. I am just curious what a purist would say having seen the finished product.

I am glad to hear that we are getting a lot of positive reviews but I am confused. They cast Governor Gumpas why would he be missing? Is he no longer a governor?

Wow, I did not see all these good reviews coming! even the die hard fans seem to really like it! I was down half an hour ago, and now, I'm in full anticipation!

I refuse to be encouraged until after Tirian's review. But I'm ready to spring to the other side. I'm tired of being negative all the time.

It sounds like Tirian is pretty happy about the movie. Can't wait to see his review. I think we all trust him a little bit more than outside sources.
