As of 5/1, VDT has made $23,284,724 from DVD sales and sold 780000 Blu-ray discs.
I'd say MN has been "unofficially" greenlit already, simply given the fact that Walden has gotten far enough along with Fox to be able to announce it as the next movie.
I know that's not the same as a greenlight, but if they've gotten that far, the rest is probably just dotting i's and crossing t's!
I got the Blu-ray/DVD/Digital copy for my birthday in April. (It came out the day before my b-day). I watched the DVD version that night. I'll give the packaging 4 and 1/2 stars for really grabbing your attention. Very well done.
My complaint is that the package itself was horrible! I had a hard time getting the glue off the discs and gave it a few scratches.
I really thought that VDT would be one of those films that you saw once at the theatre and then rented it. It's not that good of a movie. So I'm really surprised how good it's doing in retail!
I don't like VDT (the movie) much, but anything that keeps the franchise going is fine by me!
I'm almost afraid to ask what you would do glumPuddle if someone gave you a free copy of VDT.

Well it's not doing so bad considering everyone on NarniaWeb hates the movie.. but it is doing worse than PC. Oh well, let's just hope for a green light anyway. But these sales will surely result in a budget cut.

Just get it from your library, gP. That's what I did.

Thanks for finally watching the movie.

This is totally incorrect. You may, but not everyone here agrees with you.
This is the sort of comment that gets repeated to the producers and threatens future work. It also impacts on how we get treated by the production.
There, shining in the sunrise, larger than they had seen him before, shaking his mane (for it had apparently grown again) stood Aslan himself.
"...when a willing victim who had committed no treachery was killed in a traitor's stead, the Table would crack and Death itself would start working backwards."
I happen to like the movie quite a bit. It's got it's flaws, but what movie doesn't? There are parts that I was like huh? But there are parts that I thought were very good.
I have no idea how the DVD sales went, but when I was at Walmart buying my copy, I saw them sell at least 3 - 4 other copies and that was in the middle of the day. The display by the door was whittled down to just a handful of copies left on it by the time I made it back for errand purposes about a week later.

For the record, I love the VDT film and have been one of it's biggest supporters. It's just disappointing that it's being nitpicked to death on here.

Still a fantastic movie and even better the more I watch it!
I didn´t buy it on DVD blu-ray though but on plain DVD.
Am I completely wrong here or isn´t in proper widescreen
format like the two previous ones or just somekind of
fullscreen?
I'm happy the dvd does fairly well. I've just bought 7 copies, some for presents.
Hopefully it does well enough, so we'll get more Narnia films.
Well if you look at the movie for what it is (a sequel to LWW and PC movies, and not the books), then it will be much easier for you to enjoy it. Ah...but the line "Based on the book by C.S Lewis" really put the book-fans off.
No, I don't think there's a correlation. Some of the people who love the book, love the movie, because of the depiction of some of their favorite scenes and characters. Whereas, some of the people who haven't read the book think that the movie is dull and confusing.
