I think if you look at the original synopsis for the movie, the term "sea serpentS" is used. I just assumed it was a typo. hmm...

Any more than 1 sea serpent at the same time would be too many, and that includes 2 headed sea serpents.

I don't want a 2 headed serpent. I'd count multi-headed serpents as multiple serpents for the purposes of my "1 serpent limit".

Tony Nixon did only refer to the Sea Serpent in the singular. And since he is in that scene that is siginificant.

That is a good point too and one that had crossed my mind.

It's very likley a typo- but if it isn't, there better not be more then two. One or two huge sea serpents trying to crush your ship is frightening enough- we don't need an army.

I still think that there will just be one sea serpent, and that David Arnold just made a simple mistake; completely understandable. I do, however, agree that more than one, or multi-headed sea serpents are unnecessary, and a bit more than logic and luck would be needed to prevent the serpents from crushing the Dawn Treader.

Does any one else remember the quote of them "running THE sea serpent into a rock"? I would think that they would have said A sea serpent into a rock if there were more than one.
