Narniafans.com has just posted a bunch of David Arnold's tweets, and in one of them, he said "ok….sea serpents to deal with tomorrow…sleep well my online whatever its called when you follow someone.not followers…begins with tw."
Does he really mean sea serpentS? We have heard about them possibly upping the intensity of the sea serpent scene by adding a battle, but does David Arnold really mean that there is more than one sea serpent?!?
Personally, I wouldn't like this change, but, what do you think?

I wouldn't like the change either. I think it would take away from the battle scene if a bunch of identical sea serpent heads popping out of the water, instead of having the one huge, horrifying adversary. Not to mention it'd be awfully reminiscent of the Hydra of Greek Mythology.
I have a feeling he didn't really mean it to be taken literally. Or maybe I'm just hoping that's the case.
I don't think I would really mind it. It might be pretty cool to see Dragon Eustace fighting off a bunch of sea serpents. But maybe that's just because I'm a huge Eustace fan who wants to see Eustace become as big a hero as he can possibly be, haha.
It depends on how it's portrayed. Anything can sound good or bad when we first hear of it, but in the movie it can be a much different matter. So basically, I just hope the filmmakers know what they're doing in their decisions. They know how everything looks on screen, because they actually see it on screen. Something we think would look good or bad might turn out very different when you actually see it in a movie theater.

He is going to earn his grace. I am not convinced.
I think it's just a typo.

There was also the typo about "Aslan and Lucy are in the bedroom talking about Edmund". He's probably just in a hurry.
Yeah it was probably a typo of some sort. It's twitter not anything professional where you have to do spell check. I wouldn't worry about it.

Since everything we've heard indicates a battle with the sea serpent rather than them outwitting the thing, I couldn't care less if they added more sea serpents in. By making it a proper battle they've already invalidated the point of the scene, so they might as well make it all EPIC!!!!-y.
It will be really epic.
"Sea Serpents" could be the title of one of Arnold's peices. Or perhaps it refers to several peices that have the same "sea serpent" theme. Maybe the sea serpent shows up in the movie more than once.
Or maybe Arnold is just having trouble with his plurals.
Movie Aristotle, AKA Risto
The more i think about this the more that i don't mind having a lot of sea serpents in one scene. Especially if it's only two, two can be plural and still not be a drastic change.

I too think it's just a typo, and since they've already changed the scene so that a battle occurs, I wouldn't be surprised, nor would I really care, if they added another sea serpent.

Maybe not. In the book they were about to try to battle the sea serpent before Reepicheep stopped them. Maybe they'll battle the sea serpent for a while and when they realize that isn't working they go for the outwitting approach.

Maybe he meant sea serpent and the dragon. No? I'm only hoping and that it was a silly typo.

[wrath] said that
He told her that he was in the last scene they filmed, and he was a rower on the Dawn Treader, and he had to row the boat into a pretend sea serpent, crushing it into a rock.
