Depends on how you define reboot.
I don't think they'll call for a recast and start the whole thing over. No, no. As many others have said, our dear producers are too in love with Tilda Swinton to ever let her depart the Narnia series. And I'd hate to lose Liam Neeson.
That said, I think that MN could be a fresh start for us. It's unfilmed territory, a new book with new characters and new lands. Things could be done with that. I would encourage the filmmakers to recast a younger Jadis, possibly keeping Tilda in for a cameo or something, but I don't think that will happen.
A restart? No. A fresh start? Just maybe.
I agree, but then again, if the audience havent read the books then they wont have a clue whats going on.
I think ChristProclaimer is right in a way, saying that they should cast a younger version and keep Tilda for a cameo. However the problem with that is if they were to show her in the previous movies as a flash back/forward or whatever, it wouldn't make sense because it hasn't happened yet from the movie POV.
If they were to keep her as a cast for a different role, it too would mess with it slightly, since its set back before any of the previous films, it would be confusing to have the exact same face in two points in history. Even though in some sense it could work, I for one dont know.
You have returned for a reason. Your adventure begins now.
It would i think they should choose different characters for the Green Lady.

In terms of internal consistency, I don't think it makes sense to recast Jadis. She's supposed to stop aging when she eats the apple, so she should look to be the same age as she was in LWW, just less frosty. Now, they don't do this in the book, but I think they should actually show the moment where she eats the apple, and how she physically transforms into the White Witch.
Well, I don't want them to even do MN next. But if they do, I don't want a complete reboot. But maybe, if they started off by getting a director who actually cared about I don't know, following the book, it could be a fresh start at least.
