Maybe I'm just too nitpicky but there are some things in the movies where they got sooo close to something in the book--something they could have left out altogether-- but then they change something. One thing I've noticed they do is they'll pull certain lines straight out of the book but given them to different characters.
Where have you seen this type of thing?
For instance, at the beginning of PC when they start to feel the tug to Narnia, in the book, Edmund says, "Everybody hold hands!" In the movie, they gave this line to Susan so Edmund could say that he didn't want to hold Pete's hand. I'm glad they kept that line, but I really wanted Edmund to say that because it shows how much he has matured.
And then this one is really tiny, but in LWW, the blue-bottle fly is there on the windowsill (yay!), but he's alive. In my mind, a live fly means the room has been opened recently, while a dead fly means nobody's been in there for a long time.
What other switched lines have you noticed? Or where were they almost there, but not quite? Did you like it, dislike it, not care?

Well, in PC, the scene where Lucy tries to wake everyone after her dream about Aslan, they give Peter's line "Certainly Lu. Anything you like," to Susan. I don't mind too much, but I would prefer that they don't switch lines if they don't have too.

well, I don't nkow if this is exactly a stolen line, but during the duel between Peter and Miraz when they take the respite, Peter says to Edmund, "I wonder what happens back home if we die here?" Eustace says the same to Jill in The Last Battle!

I noticed peter saying something in PC which Eustace said in SC about "What is it with girls" and something about a map. Eustace said something similar only it was about a compass.
Another was when Peter asked "What do you think happens back home if you die here?" It's like the conversation between Jill and Eustace in LB.

Actually, that line about the compass/map/girls does come from PC.
-checks book-
'"That's the worst of girls," said Edmund to Peter and the Dwarf. "They never carry a map in their heads."
"That's because our heads have something inside them," said Lucy.'
They gave the map line to Peter. That one I can understand, because he was leading them.
Aaaaand, the Compass line is SC is...
"... Let's see, where is east?" [Eustace]
"I don't know," said Jill.
"It's an extraordinary thing about girls that they never know the points of a compass," said Eustace.
"You don't know either," said Jill indignantly.
I have to also disagree with Eustace. I know the points of a compass quite well!
