Let's discuss Dante Spinotti's cinematography! His work is visually stunning in this film, so it's only natural to discuss some scenes that he filmed wonderfully! :)

I liked some of the "epic" Dawn Treader shots.
But just about all the rest of the cinematography for the movie I thought was really horrendously done. The camera was always shaking during perfectly still shots, and it was always zoomed way up into the characters faces for some reason.
The cinematography was probably my biggest problem with this movie besides the pacing.

I'm no expert in these things, but it looked nice to me. However I tend to notice problems with the cinematography after my second viewing. The first time I watch a movie, I'm more interested in the characters, plot, dialogue, and acting. So my opinion might change, but for a first viewing, it looked good to me. :)
