A beach wedding would be cool. I think I'd like it to be a quieter affair. We've had big dramatic coronations/victory parades at the end of the first two movies, something a little more low-key would make for a nice change from the formula.
I would love to see a nice, quiet island wedding...but still on the beach. There's a magical feel about having the wedding on the last island before the world's ending, with the sun setting and the waves of the sea rolling on and on....
Although, of course, a wedding at Cair Paravel sounds nice too.
I feel as if if Caspian and Lillian got married on Ramandu Island, it would show that they didn't know each other well enough to get married unless if the show some certain season to show that time had passed by. I'd rather it be in the land of Narnia to show that they had time to fall for each other in the few months they spent together. but that's just my opinion

If they show the wedding, I think I'd like to see it on the beach at sunrise. I can't decide whether I'd rather have it be on the island or Cair, but if it's at Cair, I'd like the mermaids to sing.

Good point. But in that case, I'd rather there wasn't a wedding at all. Instead, I think a tag scene with a young Rilian toddling around would work better. It would indicate that time has passed, especially if Caspian's hair is graying.
Damsel, I thought of that too, but if Lilliandil is serious enough about loving Caspian to come back to Narnia on the ship with him (She wouldn't return to Narnia just for no reason and then fall in love with Caspian), I don't know why they would wait to marry until they return to Narnia.
Edit:
Then, there is the part in the book where the sailors speak of staying at Ramandu's island all winter and "returning home in March". I don't know if that part is going to be in the film, but it would give Caspian and Lilliandil's romance more time to develop.
I agree - a beach/sunset wedding would be lovely. If they do the wedding scene, that's what I'd want. Although I wouldn't mind a credits scene as well. Maybe both?

I voted yes that they should have a wedding and expand it from the book and BBC version. I wouldn't mind if it took place in the credits like how Pixar does with their bloopers. Something like that. and an alternate ending of a few years later and their son Rilian comes up as a small boy and let audiences know that they wont see Caspian with some other girl in the next movie

Having just seen the ocean for the first time, I completely agree about an ocean setting especially at sunset. It's mesmerizing. I'm not sure though about beach vs. ship setting. I think both would be beautiful, course the beach would be a lot more open, plus the waves.
MountainFireflower, I agree both would be great. I like the idea of the credit scene being of the family as well.

an ocean setting is very probable because Ramundu's Island is and island!
I think it would be a great setting!

I just hope if it will take place on Ramandu Island that it shows that time has passed by. Like 5-6 months time.

I'm one of those that would rather the wedding not be shown. For some reason I just can't picture it turning out to be a good scene, and I definitely don't want anything cheesy. I'd rather it just be implied.

aslan is on the move: i really enjoyed your rendition! i liked reading about their relationship- but i will be jealous to see ben on screen with RD! LOL
thank you
I voted yes, though I doubt it in the movie. Caspian and RD are my favorite couple alongside Cor and Aravis. I would at least love to see something.

king caspian: Caspian & RD are also my favorite couple in the Narnia series, aside from Cor and Aravis. I agree with you on all points in your post - especially that it would be nice to see something. Anything, really, would be alright with me.
Welcome to NW, by the way!
