I don't think a wedding scene is necessary or would even fit. I wouldn't mind a scene during the credits showing Caspian sailing up to Ramandu's Island and Ramda waiting for him, but that might be a bit too Pirate-y.
I hope they show the wedding. I don't mind how long or short it is as long as they do show it (preferably longer than Caspian's cornation though ).
Regardless of whether they do a wedding, they need to do something to show that Caspian & RD fell in love and got married. I don't think they should just have a few meaningful moments and leave it at that. I want the people in the audience who haven't read the books to be absolutely sure that Caspian is completely over Susan, and completely in love with RD.

^ditto. They really made this harder for themselves b/c people are going to think RD is the bad guy making Caspian turn away from Susan .
double ditto to MountainFireFlower!
I hope we see a scene in the credits like in LWW when Lucy goes back to the wardrobe to get back into Narnia. It should be something like that where they can show something between Caspian and RD that is very romantic and yes show the audience that Caspian never had to have Susan for he found his true love RD.
I hope to see other things between them in the movie as well but I hope they show something rather legit.

I hope they don't make it cheesy but I do hope they do it. AGH I just want to see the movie now! . I just wish they didn't have the whole Susan thing. It ruins the beauty of their romance. RD should have been Caspian's one and only love. Oh well, they'll just have to make up for it with a good wedding and other romantic moments .

Ditto!!
What people need to get is that sure on film it looked as if Susan and Caspian were each others first loves but I seriously doubt that 100 percent. Reason being Susan could have already had a boyfriend or crush in her world or in Narnia way before PC took place. Hopefully when HHB is made maybe she'll have someone (besides Rabadash, plus she lived for 29 years before PC so that gave plenty of time to of had a first attraction before then), Caspian is a big boy perhaps he had a childhood sweetheart we never knew about that he never saw again or a crush on someone whom he couldn't be with before Susan (A first love can also be a crush on someone who didn't love one back). Or maybe since some of the things from the leaked script are coming true 'Caspian has dreams about RD' maybe he had dreams of her all his life and was a secret love to him and once upon meeting her at Ramandu's Island it'll be the most romantic thing ever. And True love is always better then a first

I really prefer not to think of the whole Suspian incident as a big thing. They hardly knew each other; it really wasn't all that significant. PLUS... Susan was the one who initiated the kiss - not Caspian. Sooo...there is hope for him yet.
Anyway - this is random, but I really wouldn't mind seeing RD in a wedding dress.

Maybe her white dress on the poster is the wedding
Probably not but I can dream
But I hope there's a scene when Caspian pulls RD in for a kiss and RD likes it and she kisses him back. That would so knock Suspian lovers in AWE

Ooh. That would be nice. I'll join your dreaming.
Yeah. I'm just hoping the filmmakers handle this tactfully. They're going to have to, after the Suspian incident.
A wedding would be nice. I am now torn between that and a credits scene with little Rilian. I mean, come on! The costumes for the wedding would be AMAZING!

If we are being honest here, I think Suspian is a bigger deal to the book purists and the RD fans than it is to the suspian fans. I think that the adverage movie goer won't give it as much thought as we are. They probably won't lose sleep over Caspian finding someone besides Susan. They will uderstand that Susan is gone and can't come back and that Caspian needs to move on. Holding him to Susan would be weird since it's practically like she's dead.
I think it also helps that Caspian's whole look is changed and, as much as I hate to say it, it helps that his accent is gone. This way he doesn't even seem like the same Caspian who was kissed by Susan. He has matured and is different than the boy he was in PC. Most everyone dates and has crushes before the find The One. That is understandable. He will find RD and fall in love with her and it will blow Suspian out of the water.
If they stick to the book, it has no choice but to be better and feel more like love than Suspian. Imo the most important difference between Caspian/ RD and Suspian is that Caspian will be persuing RD. In PC Susan was in persuit of Caspian which is completely backwards especially in old fashioned romance. The guy is supposed to chase the girl and be chivalrous enough to win her heart, which is how it will be if they stick to the book. This is a better and more noble love story than suspian. It should be perfect.
I voted for a small scene, mid-credits style like in LWW. I do hope the script gives RD a little more personality and that there's undeniable chemistry between her and Caspian.
When I watched PC I really didn't get the feeling that Caspian and Susan were head over heels for each other. There wasn't enough chemistry for love at first sight or whatever you want to call it. To me it just seemed like a small spark, it honestly didn't bother me, especially with the kiss being barely reciprocated on Caspian's part. Sometimes I think Caspian acted as if Susan was the first girl who ever paid him any positive attention. His hug felt more emotional, embracing her while holding Rhindon like anchoring to the two Pevensies who said they weren't coming back. I think he was sad his first friends in adolescence were leaving, not just for Susan. The whole Door in the Air scene is bittersweet.
For Susan I believe she only did it because she felt she would regret not doing it. Kissing a boy in front of all those people? How bold. Not to mention consider how Susan left Narnia and went from a lady back to being a girl in the blink of an eye. Upon her return 1 year turned out to be 1,000 years in Narnia. You don't think she would "seize the moment" with those things in mind? Also, I don't know about you all, but I would rather have my last "potential romantic interest" in Narnia be Caspian X instead of Rabadash.
Anyway I really think Suspian was an innocent fleeting thing of adolescence. That's why I hope they show some real chemistry between Caspian and RD to imply they are made for each other. The books leave it up to our imagination, in mine (and hopefully the film's) RD has much more depth and personality to fit Caspian's facets. You know you've scripted a believable magical budding relationship between two wonderful characters when during the credits everyone is surprised by another scene...but not surprised by the content of that scene.
Oh I hope they put the wedding or some sort of scene in there. Then all the Suspian fans can have a taste of a real romance! Plus, it would be so amazing to see it in the movie. C/RD was my favorite romance in the book anyway....

I am a proud nerd.
NOT a Suspian supporter.
To me it is very important that they show a wedding because modern movies have a way of implying that two people were married but then in a sequel you find out that they actually didn't and that doubt in peoples minds should not be allowed with Caspian and RD.
I would enjoy a scene in the credits but the wedding should be in the movie itself as a lot of people stop watching as soon as the credits start.
Psalm 37:25 "I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread."
I really think because it is mentioned in the book, the scene should be small and short but still there. Unless they want to randomly do it at the front of the Silver Chair. It would be kind of repetive if they did that. But I think they should show Caspian and RD in wedding garments (Narnian, of course, I imagine her wedding outfit would look like the wedding dress in Princess Bride.) Then have either her father or Aslan (I like the idea of Aslan better.) say, ''Man and wife. Now you may kiss the bride.'' Then it should go back to our world to show us what Alberta thinks about Eustace's new behavior. That would be my happy ending.
