How do you think the Bell Tower scene will fit into the movie? I'm really confused by it.. I read in a supposed spy report that it involved three of the seven missing lords... does that mean the three sleepers? And something about the White Witch's stone knife?!? I'm really confused by it all! Any ideas would be really helpful! Thanks!

It will most likely fit into the movie in more or less the same way as it did in the early draft of the script - minus the involvement of Dr Cornelius and a LOTGK possessed Governor Gumpas.
If you are interested, i wrote up some of the known details about the Bell Tower set in the Set Rumor thread over here: http://www.narniaweb.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=933&start=16#p74067.
I believe the reference to the Lost Lords you may have seen is the headless statues that reside in the Bell Tower. Several spy reports from the set indicated that the Statues were supposed to be of the Seven Lords, but as i mentioned in that topic there, it seems unlikely - firstly because the statues are all identical, and secondly because there are at least 12 of the statues. Though if thats what people have been told on set tours, then who are we to say otherwise...
The reference to the Stone Knife you may have heard about comes from the early script draft, though its difficult to say whether or not that plot point has been cut out, as a few bits and pieces related to that scene (such as i mentioned earlier) have been cut out, though some details - such as armed slavers sliding down the bell tower ropes - have been confirmed to have made it to the final movie.
icarus, thanks for the link! Do you think these armed slavers have anything to do with the skirmish that we see in the trailer?

That would make sense.
Seeking comic book artist, PM for details.
That's the only thing I can come up with...

LOTGK possessed Gumpas?
You know the more I hear about the leaked script the better I feel about the changes they have made. And the more I'm glad I never saw it.
Anyway, I'm quite confused by this myself, this is where they get attacked by the slave catchers right?

I was surprised by how short the skirmish in the bell tower lasted in the film. The battle continued outside in the streets of the town by the slave trading center, which i was not expecting..

When I read the header for the topic, I was thinking what bell tower? That scene was in the film?? Oh right, that hardly present fight which quickly moved outside into the courtyards and streets. Yes, yes, I even forgot it was included since there was so little of it shown. Oh well, the scene did work well in the movie so I'm not disappointed in that aspect. Shame, though.
We have nothing, if not belief.

The skirmish was great. The battle was fun too but completely contrary to the spirit of the book.

Doctor Who - Season 11
I liked the skirmish even though I miss the Caspian-Gumpas dialogue. But it was just too short, it could really have used another minute or 2.
the bell tower scene was epic!
