^Oh, you beat me! :)

All five clips were fantastic! The first one with Aslan saying he has another name was so emotional! I didn't cry watching, but it was very heart-warming and heart-braking at the same time! I think what made it especially great was that BOTH Lucy and Edmund were emotional themselves. Edmund being emotional was a shocker to me(him being the steady person in PC), but him and Lucy on the verge of tears made me feel for them a lot. Aslan's lines also seem very close(if not exactly) to the book, and all who said this scene would be very emotional were right! :(( ;)

We've already seen Clip #2(which I love ). Clip #3 was quite odd, and Coriakin's dialouge was really strange. But besides the whole Dark Island plot, it wasn't as bad as I thought(for now... :-s ). The map was spectacular, and Eustace's line about the map made me laugh, especially when Lucy and Edmund stared at him! Not bad yet, but I guess I'll have to wait and see... :-??

#4 was awesome! The song that Reepicheep had heard from the nypmh was there, which I'm glad to see and know! And the whole conversation between Lucy and Reepicheep, in my opinion, shows much of Reep's longing for the Utter East! Thank goodness they kept that! #:-s

#5 felt slighty weird, too, probably just because this is our first real scene showing interaction between Lucy and Gael. I like the message that's there(besides the DK plot 8-| ), and I think Gael will end up being a cool character, although I hope she isn't always as depressed like this, because it's sad! :(

In conclusion, there's only one way to wrap this up: Hooray for the ride of insanity and spoilers! =)) 8-} :D :-??

YES They kept all of Aslan's line, and Reep's song :D Ok I'll admit it now, coriakin's lines are a bit cheesy, they worked better in the trailer... but the map is awesome, anyone notice the LWW scene :P

It would be really hard not to notice the LWW scene, I couldn't find any problem at all with Aslans line. That scene looks like it will be very emotional in context, PC also had a very emotional ending I wonder which one will be better.

My guess is Eustace will smile and then realize he's smiling at a talking mouse and start scowling at him. A hint to show that there's a real boy yearning for adventure under his skin.

This seems likely, especially with that line he says about the map being beautiful, for a make believe map of a make believe world. I think the direction the film makers are going with him is this: imagine your parents had always taught you that it was wrong to smile. You kept having this impulse to smile, but you always kept it down. Eustace had always believed that imagination and creativity were things to look down upon, but deep down he had these qualities himself. I think it's a good way of getting the audience to want him to become a nicer person, by giving us hints of what he could be.

Seeking comic book artist, PM for details.

It would be absolutely terrible if they portrayed a noble character being nice to someone after that someone has been unkind to them! Reep playing around with the pre-redeemed Eustace?! What is that?! Are they teaching kids to love their enemies and be good to those who are unkind to them?! What is this world coming to?! ;)) *sarcasm not intended to offend so please don't take it that way*

:p (isn't offended). I still don't like it and don't think Reep would be playing around with Eustace when the intent was to teach Eustace a lesson and punish him (which you have to admit he deserved). It came off to me as being a little more of making fun of Eustace but we'll have to wait and see.

I have to say, as a Christian who is pretty fond of morals and such, I really don't have a problem with this particular deviation from the book. Being good to those who do wrong to you is a good moral even if that particular act of kindness toward Eustace was not in the book.

It is a good moral but one that Reep shows several other places in the book. (when Eustace is missing / is a dragon).

I'm really upset that it appears that they cut the part where Eustace swings Reep by his tail. :(( That was one of the parts I was most looking forward to. :((

I loved the end of the world clip. It looks like they nailed that at any rate. I liked parts of the other clips as well but parts felt off. I didn't much care for the one in Corikan's (sp?). I'd love to write more but I have to get ready for work. :p
