[Closed] Andrew Adamson

This is really random and is probably better located somewhere else, but please read on anyway. Has any one besides myself noticed Andrew Adamson's strange name? At first glance (and indeed, many other glances as well) it doesn't seem unusual. Andrew Adamson. However, consider his last names' meaning. It means Andrew, son of Adam. Interestingly weird!

well, he didn't name himself that, his parents did.....and if they were thinking of Narnia when they did, that would be kind of interesting......but i highly doubt it. interesting all the same!

Man, son of Man.

Coincidence is when you run into your neighbor at the grocery store.

He who is like God, and able.

Well Andrew means "strong, or manly", so that doesn't seem to have much to do with Narnia. And Adamson was his last name, so I doubt his parents had much say in what that would be.

I think Andrew Adamson was given the nickname "Son of Adam" a long time ago, and I've heard it several times around here over the past several years.

Check out "The Magician's Nephew" and "The Last Battle" trailers I created!

Yes, HighQueen, we certainly did! Way back in early 2004 before casting announcements etc, we began calling him Son of Adam here. :D Great, isn't it? It sort of faded off after PC.

There, shining in the sunrise, larger than they had seen him before, shaking his mane (for it had apparently grown again) stood Aslan himself.

I'm not really surprised about that seeing that he isn't directing VotDT..... :)
