As I was watching Prince Caspian today with my daughter, she pointed out to me that when Susan was fighting in the battles, she never seemed to run out of arrows. She used so many and yet and still always had enough .I just thought that was interesting.
If this was a previous discussion than please forgive me

I guess its just one of those examples of movie magic, they never run out of arrows.
well, seeing as this is not a reality tv show, something's gotta give. another reason why you don't see excessive amounts of blood or people eating 3 meals a day or people taking trips to the bathroom. It's just one of those things.
Now, I don't know if the book ever mentions Susan looking for arrows, but, just for example, from Lord of the Rings, in the book, it is mentioned on several occasions of Legolas having to look for arrows during and after battles. However, in the movie, we never see Legolas looking for a refill. This is just something that movie makers don't think are necessary to keep the story flowing. If they did add it for reality, most likely they would see it as stopping the flow.
That's prolly why they just had Susan's quiver "magically" refill all the time.

I noticed that the first time I saw PC...during the entire battle, I was like, "How come the number of arrows in her quiver always stay the same?" It bothered me until I convinced myself that since Susan has an enchanted bow & arrows, Father Christmas must have seen to it that she would never run out!

I thought about that too....I guess it was blessed!

Perhaps she picks up other arrows of the ground (which Legloas does in the LotR book). And all the arrows she picks up just so happen to have red feathers. There! Problem solved.
Perhaps the arrows are made of the same wood as boomerangs. They keep coming back.
No that can't be right. Or is it? The arrow that Susan hit Trumpkin's Telmarine executioner with was kept and given to Miraz who speared Dr Cornelius' book with it. Then somehow Grozelle and Sopespian got hold of it, because that arrow was used to stab Miraz with. It is that arrow that is important to the film, not the endless supply of umpteen other similar arrows that Susan might have in her possession, or otherwise acquired whilst in Narnian training camp.
I always thought about this, actually
I convinced myself too that since they are magical, there must be an endless supplies of arrows

That's gotta be it!

They probably didn't want someone running out of arrows as part of the story.

I love that quote! That is very much what fans do. I find myself doing it all the time. However, rationalizing inconsistencies between the book and the movie is something I rarely do. Maybe once she puts the arrows she picks up in the quiver they turn red by magic.
We never hear / see what Pattertwig does in the war effort, maybe his job is to scurry around and collect red feathered arrows.
I also like the boomerang idea. (Maybe just some of the arrows are "boomerangs," then we can still have the arrow the enemies have).
Of course I can go with the magic-quiver-that-never-runs-out-of-arrows idea too.

Yes, after reading Lord of the Rings I always go straight to that conclusion when I see someone with "never-ending" ammo. Although I still joke about Gimli in the movies; where does he keep all those throwing-axes?
Again, as others have said, it's movie magic.

I totally noticed that when I watched PC for the 3rd time. It was especially questionable in PC because Susan used her arrow many times during various parts of the movie. I think I noticed it at the bit where Susan begins to throw the arrows at soldiers, unable to keep up with the attack. I was like "Hey wait a minute! Where are those all coming from?" In LWW though, it wasn't noticeable because Susan barely shot at anyone.
As much as it's not realistic to have a never ending supply of anything, I agree with others that I like to think that Aslan supplied Susan with truly 'magical' Christmas gifts, always there when needed.
Ahh the magic of movies, where arrows appear at your command.

I always thought she got more arrows at times throughout the film. They made them with red feathers. If they can remake the boys armor and coats as well as susan's armor, i would think they could make more arrows throughout the film.
There are no clouds in the sky. There is only the open sun and the Lord watches.
In the castle attack in PC she hits people with her bow a few times. Maybe she does this because she is out of arrows or just waiting for them to magically refill. A quiver than never runs out of arrows would be a great weapon to have in battle.
