To be honest when I first saw LWW with my friend and the surprise opening made me turn and say "We're in the wrong stadium." but then I saw Edmund at the window and heard familiar names from the mother.
haha that happened to me too!!!!! it would be so cool if VotDT had an opening just as shocking and crazy!

Me, too. On both films, actually. My father was quite thrown off by the birthing scene...Anyways.
To add to/clarify my above post: I would like an opening that surprises the viewer. But it does NOT have to be an action/drama sequence. Just something unexpected in the story...like Eustace.
