How many of you have actually bought the Narnia films on DVD or went to see them at box office. By just watching a Narnia film at a friend's house does not supporting Narnia. At one time I did not buy all the Narnia stories new, but now I have already bought them all. Instead of just loaning a book of Narnia by C. S. Lewis { which I have done in the past}, why not all of us support Narnia by buying it's books, or DVDs or blue ray...whatever. If Narnia is not always supported it may go out. Also by supporting Narnia it helps it compete against other series and franchises. We should always see every Narnia film at box office. I've known plenty of people that would spend their money to go see any other film, but not Narnia. Us Narnia fans need to truly stick with Narnia and keep supporting it. Sadly, Disney did not drop out of Prince Caspian for no reason. I'ts box office results were not near as good as the first film. With Narnia having Christian themes to it, we need to help support it.
I completely agree, Jewel! People put their money where they believe. Of all the movies, Narnia deserves the support!
I do in fact own LWW on DVD as well as the Extended Edition. I also own all three movies on Blu-ray. Though I admit the only reason I own VDT is because it was a gift. I really wasn't a fan of that movie, but I liked the first two and was happy to support them.
I think they should already start remaking the movies. The ones we have leave out some scenes I've mentioned I would really like to see, and a remake is the only chance I have of seeing them outside my head.
