In many ways a year seems like an awful lot longer to wait, but when you consider how much exciting news and announcements they still have to cram into that period its going to fly by in no time!

In no particular order, the big news stories and reveals i'm anticipating over the coming 12 months, whether they be contained in official releases, unofficial releases, teasers, trailers, posters wherever:

1. Casting announcement for Ramandu - if they are saving it for a big announcement, then you might assume they have got someone pretty special to play him?

2. Casting announcement for Uncle Harold and Aunt Alberta - if they are even in the movie that is. Technically they don't actually appear in the book themselves, they are only ever spoken of "offscreen" or in the narration

3. First look at the Dufflepuds - we've seen some brief glimpses of concept art before, but nothing can compare to seeing one real in the flesh for the first time! Possibly one of the most difficult visual concepts they've ever had to deal with - will be very interesting to see how they handle it.

4. First look at the Sea Monster - again we've seen some brief glimpses of concept art before, but they could of taken the design ideas in absolutely any direction since then. Serpent? Squid? Something else entirely?

5. First look at Eustace as a Dragon

6. Seeing the finished Dawn Treader, with full mast and full sails - the set at cleveland point didn't have a full mast, and we only got to see the bottom third or so of the sail, with only part of a strange golden design on the purple sail visible - what does the full design look like?)

7. Lord Rhoop in Costume - literally cannot wait to see how fantastic Bruce Spence looks as Lord Rhoop! Without doubt one of the most inspired castings we've had so far in the series

8. Coriakin in Costume - i really really hope they do something new and unique with his costume, and not just leave us with another dull old-wizard cliche (Ramandu can fill that role for this movie )

9. Concept art for all the islands - i absolutely love concept art, and with all the islands having their own particular looks, styles and characteristics to explore, it should make for some gorgeous artwork

10. Hearing the first snippet of David Arnolds score for the movie - i was never the biggest fan of Harry Gregson Williams' work on the last two films, so i'm hopefully David Arnold can really raise the standard there

11. All the Dawn Treader merchandise and finally acheiving a life-long dream by getting my hands on a Dawn Treader Ship Toy!!!

Two things:

1. Eustace the dragon, and his 'undragoning'.
must be as close to the book as possible without taking any of the meaning away.

2. Reepicheep leaving in his coracle while Edmund and Lucy meet up with lamb/Aslan- (with Eustace of course). and his talk to them.

I hope they show the bit when Reepicheep throws his sword and it lands with the hilt up!
