So, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader comes out in 1 year/365 days/525,600 minutes. What are you most looking forward to about the film? Is it your favorite book, and that's why you're excited? Or are you looking forward to the music, hoping this time they will actually come out with a "complete score edition"? Or, are you looking forward to seeing the old (and new) actors, and how they portray their characters?
If you're like me, then you probably have a huge mix of emotions on what you're looking toward to most. For me, my top three are:

1.) The movie in general: How the plot was change, and how realistic it is. I want this movie to be stunning! I would hate for it to be a flop/be cheesy. And, I have been wondering about the poster: will they "pull a Pirates of the Caribbean" and line up everyone's heads at the top and put the Dawn Treader at the bottom? Or will they make the poster the picture of the ship, like in the book? I guess only time will tell...
2.) The music for the film and the music at the end credits: I'm really excited to see what David Arnold will do for the score. Will he stick to the original theme? Or will he create a new theme? Hopefully, he won't go "electronic"... And, I can't wait to see what songs are at the end of the movie. That will be exciting!!! I hope it's better than The Call, which would be hard to pull off. That song is amazing!
3.) Honestly, my third is the props: The picture in the bedroom: watercolor, oil, or acrylic? The ship: will it look authentic on camera? The treasure Eustace finds: will it look like it came from the dollar store, or will it look like real jewels and gold? We'll see...

Well, I definitely know I am looking forward to the music, and probably most of all to seeing if they do the dragon part right. Anyone else?

I can't wait to hear the music and I can't wait to see Skandar and Georgie and Ben again!

I am most looking forward to seeing the Dawn Treader sailing on the screen. The pictures of the ship are beautiful.
I am also looking forward to hearing what David Arnold does with score.
And I want to find out once and for all about the MLG!

I can't wait! If I had to choose one book as a favorite, it would be Dawn Treader, all of my favorite characters are in it! I just can't wait to see the whole thing, I want to have the same feeling I did as I watched LWW for the first time! God willing it will be awesome and better then I could imagine! :D :)

I think it'll be really interesting to see how the actors we're familiar with (especially Georgie and Skandar) have matured. And I'm looking forward to seeing Will Poulter! I'm also VERY excited to hear the score and the songs. The last two soundtracks are two of my favorite soundtracks ever... hopefully I'll be able to add this one to the list!

Yeah, I can't wait to see how the actors have changed too! It will be weird seeing Georgie in boy's clothes... in the other movies, she's worn dresses, but this time around, it's all pants. It will also be weird seeing Ben with a beard!
And yes, I'm hoping the soundtrack will be just as good as the others, if not better. I think everyone can agree with the statement: I hope David Arnold uses some of the old themes, BUT, some new themes would be great too. Hopefully, the music will compliment the film, and also stand as an awesome soundtrack. I can't help but wonder, if he does compose a new theme, what he'll do for it. That will be exciting to hear if it happens!

Wow. Just one year to go...I really can't believe it. :D

I'm really not sure what I want to see most. Everything excites me, the music, the cinematography, the acting, the props, the visual effects, and the list goes on and on and on.

I can't say I'm actually too worried about the 'changes' that are going to take place. I'll have to wait and see if I like them or not. I don't have any opinion if they'll be abominable or tolerable changes yet.

So I'm feeling a general excitement about the entire movie, and even the mention of an 'unfathomable fate' hasn't injured my excitement very much at all...yet.

I'm so impatient to see it. It is really exciting when you count down the minutes. I expect a few things from the new movie. I hope there will be new music themes, but it will be good to save the main old motive. Second, I am also very afraid of inappropriate "changes", which can take place in the VotDT. Still, there is a big chance of making such changes. I'm sure, that Mr. Barnes, Mr. Keynnes and the other cast will play as well as they always play :) . And finally...Narnia, Narnia come faster :) .

Wow, I'm really excited! I was exclaiming to my family earlier, "The Voyage of the Dawn Treader comes out a year from today!"

I'm pretty nervous about VDT. The story revolves around character development and plot, and if they dump a bunch of action into the movie all of what makes the story what it is will be crushed. After PC, I'm trying not to hold my breath. It's hard, though. Narnia's my favorite series, after all.

What am I anticipating? let's see.
I'm anticipating the plot. It looks like it will have changes, but will also have some important themes from the book.
I'm anticipating the take the director and his almost completely new team will have on Narnia.
I'm anticipating seeing more of the world that Narnia is in. Up to this point we have only seen what Narnia is like. Now, we get to see what some of the other places in Narnia are like.
I'm anticipating the Dawn Treader itself. Didn't they do an awesome job on her?
I'm anticipating...
The M-L-G
The M-L-G
Who is she and what can she be?
She has a mother
That's real clear
But does she have
A father for which to hold dear?
I could rant all day
About the mystery
but for the answer
I will wait and see
The M-L-G
The M-L-G
Who is she and what can she be?
I'm anticipating the unfathomable fate being: the dufflepuds becoming smart.
I'm anticipating Caspian having a beard. Ha, that is like totally awesome. Rock on, rock on! m/ m/
I'm anticipating Caspian giving Susan the boot for Ramandu's Daughter. YES! FINALLY!
I'm anticipating Reepicheep, but then, who isn't?
I'm anticipating a Dragon named Eustace.
I'm anticipating a dufflepud asking the minotaur, "Now then, what funny creature are you?" =))
I'm anticipating Coriakin and his mysterious house.
I'm anticipating Narrow Haven. Hopefully we will get to see something of what the Calormens will be like.
I'm anticipating the view into Aslan's country.
I'm anticipating the dark Island and the "albatross" saying, "courage dear heart."
I'm anticipating seeing Reepicheep playing chess.
I'm anticipating Lucy giving Reepicheep one big bear hug.
I'm anticipating three children getting swept away by a picture into an amazing world.
I'm anticipating the merpeople.
Last, but not least, I'm anticipating Aslan, the Lion and the Lamb.
Sail on VDT, I'm anticipating you!
:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Mmhmm I really want him to reuse some of HGW's themes. It would be really sad just to have them all go. I'm glad they have a new composer though. :] At first I was really upset about it, but now I'm thinking that if HGW did it again, I wonder how much more he would do for it. A lot of people were mad about the PC score.

I am also looking forward to hearing what David Arnold does with score.
And I want to find out once and for all about the MLG!

These are things I am looking forward to as well. I would also add Will Poulter as Eustace and certain scenes such as those on the Lone Islands, The Dark Island, Ramandu's Island, and the others.

But one thing that I was thinking of a bit more recently is what is mentioned in the above quote: The Dawn Treader sailing. There will have to be shots of that ship sailing on the open sea at some point. And how to do that since the full-scale version can't actually be at sea? (I know the filming in the water tank could show some of that.) One way: A smaller model or models of the Dawn Treader.

I recently watched again the episodes from behind the scenes of the first Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest. And they did have 1 seaworthy vessel and 2 others were partially built on top of barges. And there were smaller models of the Black Pearl.

So I am now really interested in the model work for VDT as well as what is in the book that makes it to the screen. :) (Or will all of that be CGI?) :-$ ;) B-)

Oh goodness!!!!! I can't wait!!! I really don't know what I'm looking forward to the most. Probably just the whole movie itself! VotDT is my favorite book, I really want to see it done well. Also, the music score. I hope it's just as beautiful as LWW and PC's...even better! I also can't wait to see the costumes. They are so beautiful and extraordinary in the other movies, I can't wait the see the VotDT costumes!

I am also hoping to see how Georgie and Skandar have matured...they will show their own style of acting in their own right. To see Ben on the big screen with his beard and exploring new worlds. I hope the special effects are great too...to make it as real as real gets! ;)
