now that Dawn Trader is out we can see which studio people prefer to make Narnia
I personally think Fox did a better job and Walden is still amazing

Fox. Disney was great with the first film, yet they Americanized PC and made it too dark. Fox retained the light and airy Britishness of VDT.
Fox. They rescued Narnia. Fox has my favorite TV show- America's Most Wanted. And I like the fact that VDT is shorter.
Definitely Disney. LWW and PC were quite good but VDT was rather mediocre. I don't agree that PC was too dark (the book is dark too).

Fox. They rescued Narnia.
Well, Disney started Narnia in the first place.
I voted for Disney. (Not for that reason though.)
I voted Disney, and not just because I didn't really like VDT. I think that falls more on Walden's shoulders. I just have not been impressed by Fox's marketing strategy.
Protector of the Birds and Beasts of Middle Earth.
Well disney didn't get involved in the making of it all they really did was advertise and Fox got way more involved then disney did.

Fox. They rescued Narnia.
actually it was more Walden that rescued it because they never gave up or quit and tried really hard to find another studio to help with it. And there were many other studios who wanted to get involved like WB

Disney. First of all, LWW and PC were better movies. Second of all, Disney did a much better job with marketing and merchandise. Third of all, Disney does not force directors to cut so much out of their films like Fox does (Fox is really controlling). And fourthly, the fairy tale nature of Disney meshes better with the Narnian world.
I think people are angry because Disney ditched the franchise, but honeslty if a series appears to flop, they arent going to spend millions of dollars to please a few fans.
Winter Is Coming
personally i think the studio they should have joined up with was WB because for one thing they make way better movies and also they are a larger studio then Fox.

The Disney movies were so much better then VDT was, I don't know how much the studio is to blame for that or if that is mainly the directors fault.
I dislike that Narnia almost "died" because of the reasons we all know very well already. I am happy Fox picked it up and gave us a third- and hopefully the rest. I prefer Disney as well. LWW was without a doubt the best Narnia, and PC was great (aside of the romance). VDT was very enjoyable too, but too time-pressed and the green mist had to go.
yup andrew is way better

I blame Disney for this series failure. They should have filmed TLWW and PC back to back so they could have released them in consecutive years. Fox had horrible marketing for VDT, but then so did Disney for Prince Caspian. Overall I'm not a fan of Fox but I enjoyed VDT a lot and am happy with them in the series. The only thing i believe is that the movie was 20 minutes to short. A lot of my own complaints and those of people I've talked to have mentioned that it all felt rushed, especially the last 30 minutes. I think Walden is to blame for that, though, not Fox. If, however, Fox is then I'll change my vote. For now I voted for Fox. It is very close for me. Both have done well in some ways, and horrible in others.

That wouldn't have been possible. The kids wouldn't have aged and the story has completely new settings and characters, not to mention more than a thousand year timeline difference.
So far, based upon pacing alone, I prefer Disney. Fox (or Walden) didn't give VDT enough breathing room and the film's emotional impact really suffered because of that. But what I do appreciate about VDT is that it had fewer cheesy attempts at humor. It was still there but definitely not to the amount we saw in the last two films. Whoever was responsible for that change, I'd like to say "thank you".
