I actually don't hate it? I have a strong fondness for sweet/savory mixes in general, and actually *prefer* pineapple in situations where it has something salty balancing it out. It does depend a bit on what else is involved - pineapple on the same pizza as mushroom is just wrong, for instance - but generally, yum.
Baked stuffed bell peppers with ground meat, rice, and tomato sauce with seasonings of choice, possibly with a layer of melted cheese on top?
