YUM! In fact, I am making a couple of quiche for a get together with friends this Tuesday (crustless: broccoli and ham; mushrooms and bacon, mmm!)

Yum.
Japanese miso soup?
"Now you are a lioness," said Aslan. "And now all Narnia will be renewed."
(Prince Caspian)
Yuck! Though I've never tried it, as a rule I only eat soup when one of the others of my family agrees to share. Soup can be gorgeous on a cold winter day, I agree. But I am not attracted to the general idea of soup, having been traumatised by boarding school barley soup, which was nutritiously compulsory eating of an evening, & I don't like any meat floating in it that is fatty or gristly.
Indian butter chicken with naan bread & rice?
Yum. Butter chicken is generally on the milder side when it comes to curries, so it's safe. I like a bit of spice, but not so much that the pain outweighs the enjoyment of eating it!
Carrot cake?
"Now you are a lioness," said Aslan. "And now all Narnia will be renewed."
(Prince Caspian)
Yum, but not my favourite sort of cake.
Tripe and onions?
Er, yuck. My mum tried cooking tripe once and it smelled so vile that none of us even wanted to come into the kitchen, let alone taste it.
Haggis with neeps and tatties?
"Now you are a lioness," said Aslan. "And now all Narnia will be renewed."
(Prince Caspian)
Er, yuck! But when I didn't want to be impolite at a Burns Night, I still managed to enjoy a small quantity of Haggis with mashed neeps as an entree. It wasn't nearly as bad as tripe & onions, which was hospital food in early 1955 when I was told that if I didn't finish the plate, I'd be kept in there indefinitely.
Breakfast porridge with brown sugar & milk?
Yum. With some sliced banana too, please.
Lemon and ginger tea?
"Now you are a lioness," said Aslan. "And now all Narnia will be renewed."

Yum!
Gouda cheese?
Christ is King.
Yum.
Blue cheese?
"Now you are a lioness," said Aslan. "And now all Narnia will be renewed."
(Prince Caspian)
Yum, served on a cheese platter with black pepper Jatz cracker biscuits, or maybe Rosemary & Thyme Captain's Table cracker biscuits.
Jelly snakes?
Yuck. I've never liked those kinds of lollies in general, for some reason.
Rocky Road?
"Now you are a lioness," said Aslan. "And now all Narnia will be renewed."
(Prince Caspian)
Depends on the exact ingredients, but mostly a yum, I would think.
Pulled pork sandwiches?
God rest you merry, gentlemen,
Let nothing you dismay.

When we were gone astray.
Yum!
Fricot?
"I'm on Aslan's side even if there isn't any Aslan to lead it. I'm going to live as like a Narnian as I can even if there isn't any Narnia." ~ Puddleglum, The Silver Chair by C.S. Lewis
Maybe a yum.
Chicken and dumplings?
God rest you merry, gentlemen,
Let nothing you dismay.

When we were gone astray.
