Do, but only if the sums are fairly simple. Gone are the days of adding up long strings of numbers in my head - or long division!
Hand-wash a small load of dishes, rather than take a few days to load the dishwasher?
There, shining in the sunrise, larger than they had seen him before, shaking his mane (for it had apparently grown again) stood Aslan himself.
"...when a willing victim who had committed no treachery was killed in a traitor's stead, the Table would crack and Death itself would start working backwards."
Do. I grew up without a dishwasher!
Sneak a look at the ending of a book you haven't finished reading to see if it'll be worth it?
"Now you are a lioness," said Aslan. "And now all Narnia will be renewed."
(Prince Caspian)
Do, especially if I just cant wait. Its something to look forward to when I finish the book.
Move to a new place and automatically look up where the library is or bookstores?
It is a good rule after reading a new book, never to allow yourself another new one till you have read an old one in between.
–C.S. Lewis
Do, especially when I was also looking to see if I could get a job working in a library.
Do voluntary work or work experience in your chosen career to add to your resumé?
Do, if I can get transportation to the place I'm volunteering at.
Read a book over a few times to see if you missed anything you may have missed the first time over?
It is a good rule after reading a new book, never to allow yourself another new one till you have read an old one in between.
–C.S. Lewis
Do, especially if there is a particular reference that catches my eye.
Eat out once a week?
Do. It's my Saturday treat.
Watch an episode of one of your favourite TV series more than once to catch bits you missed first time around?
Do, especially when someone points out something that I may have missed.
Feel like time goes by quicker when having fun?
It is a good rule after reading a new book, never to allow yourself another new one till you have read an old one in between.

Oh, do, unfortunately. The weekend is somehow always so much shorter than an equivalent amount of work days.
Wait to do any raking as long as you can?

Do not. Shredded writing or printing paper can either be used for clean bedding for pets, recycled paper or else put in with organic waste.
Use a watering can when watering the garden?
Do, but more usually I use a hose with a sprinkler on the end. (The hose nozzle on my watering can got broken and so it only pours now!)
Try to read something and listen to a different conversation at the same time?
There, shining in the sunrise, larger than they had seen him before, shaking his mane (for it had apparently grown again) stood Aslan himself.
"...when a willing victim who had committed no treachery was killed in a traitor's stead, the Table would crack and Death itself would start working backwards."
Do, especially when the said "different" conversation is really none of my business.
Doze off in front of the TV?
Not do, as I don't watch much TV unless there's something on that I'm interested in!
Eat leftover pizza for breakfast?
"Now you are a lioness," said Aslan. "And now all Narnia will be renewed."
(Prince Caspian)
Do not. But I might eat left over pizza for lunch instead.
Get frantic over lost spectacles?
