Do, especially when I come across unfamiliar words, when I don't "get" what exactly the text is communicating, or to match up text nor in standard English.
When reading, try to imagine the scene visually?
Do, although when it's Mary Stewart describing scenery in Scotland or Greece or Crete, using terms I'm not familiar with, I can't always imagine it.
Put sugar in your iced tea?
"I suppose the sewing machine's too heavy to bring?. . . I can't abide the thought of that Witch fiddling with it. . ."
No, unless the tea had a bitter taste. I don't add sugar to hot drinks either.
Eat a snack when arriving home from a busy day, before making dinner?
There, shining in the sunrise, larger than they had seen him before, shaking his mane (for it had apparently grown again) stood Aslan himself.
"...when a willing victim who had committed no treachery was killed in a traitor's stead, the Table would crack and Death itself would start working backwards."
Do not, or not any more. All too often the "snack" is lunch anyway.
Have a light meal before going shopping?
Definitely before grocery shopping!
Eat produce without washing it first?
"I suppose the sewing machine's too heavy to bring?. . . I can't abide the thought of that Witch fiddling with it. . ."
Yes, sometimes.
Do or not do, feel more cheerful on Friday afternoons?

"...when a willing victim who had committed no treachery was killed in a traitor's stead, the Table would crack and Death itself would start working backwards."
Do not, since I usually just end up wishing it was Friday evening so I'd be off work already.
Use a chore chart (or similar organizational tool)?

Yes, if making impossibly long to do lists counts.
Use a different cheese than American when making grilled cheese?
"I suppose the sewing machine's too heavy to bring?. . . I can't abide the thought of that Witch fiddling with it. . ."
Do. Mainly because we don't get much imported cheese from America to use on grilled cheese on toast. We use a variety of cheese called cheddar as a rule, but Cheddar is in England so the EU might require us to use a different name for locally made cheese.
Recycle rinsing water from the washing machine during water restrictions?
Do not. I've never lived somewhere where we had water restrictions.

Do not drink it at all--I've never developed a taste for coffee (My grandfather told me I wasn't grown up because I wouldn't drink coffee. )
Buy a package of Hershey bars to make S'mores at some time in the future when you have company over, but then you eat them all before that time ever happens?
"I suppose the sewing machine's too heavy to bring?. . . I can't abide the thought of that Witch fiddling with it. . ."
Do not - I haven't had that specific experience.
Go on trips over long weekends?
Some days you battle yourself and other monsters. Some days you just make soup.
Do not. I would love to be able to do that someday!

Do, but only if I know the song, and am by myself!
Catch up whole series of TV programmes online?

Do. I've watched up to 5 or 6 episodes in a day!
