Do, though not every year. It is not a public holiday here, but it is said we have a larger population of Irish descent in Australia than the entire population of Ireland, itself, and so we celebrate St Patrick's Day accordingly.

Observe through the year commemorations such as Remembrance Day? ( eg 1 minute's silence @ 11.OO am)

Definitely do! Such a meaningful and sobering, reflective time.

Do sometimes

Color your hair or let it go gray?

Do not. I'd have loved to have coloured my hair pink or blue or green, once I retired, but didn't like the prices that the hairdressers might charge. And then I became too ill to consider it.

Mend clothes for reuse?

Do, at least sometimes.

Replace or repair something if you break it?

Do, if I can, depending how valuably useful the item was.

Hide away small treasures in such safe locations that nobody remembers where they are?

Do not, at least not yet.

Make a cake from scratch (as opposed to from a mix)?

Do not, or at least not any more. No point in making cakes from scratch now that my trio have grown up and gone.

Hang on to outworn technology where the clock is difficult to change twice yearly?

Do not. Don't have a lot of tech stuff but what I do have changes automatically.

Do not.

Read a book in a single day?

Do, if the book is not too long and if I can get away with it without being caught.

Read something when you can't sleep?

Do, though not very often.
