Philosophy! I do love History, though.

A thorough understanding of one topic or a rudimentary understanding of a wide variety of topics? (I.e. being an expert in one area or knowing a little about a lot of different things.)

Pencils (with erasers, that is), though pens are nice for some things.

Paper back. I do enjoy certain editions of favourite books in hardcover, but I find paperbacks are easier to hold.
