Diamonds. They feature in so many rings, regardless of the main gemstone.

Pearl, because they can be cultured, & I do believe that we have a duty to look after coral reefs.

Iron, because it is one of the components of steel, coal being the other, which is needed for much of national infrastructure. Platinum is a very expensive element which is used mainly for decoration.

Piano, because I can play it. Never could get the hang of changing chords on a guitar (though I have tried).
