2. Well, it depends on the time of year, but overall pants. I live in an area with a lot of mosquitos, and pants aren't perfect at keeping them out, but they're better than shorts.

2. The worst one I can remember was a weekend camping trip my family took a few years ago. It poured almost the entire time, and with even more rain on the way, we decided to just pack up and leave Saturday morning... less than a full day after we got there.
