2. Ooh, dear, let's see... none are very specific, it's more people from that era. Rather than be, there are plenty I want to meet. But my answer would be a random girl in the 19th century whose social/familial/age-wise standing was the same as mine. Or perhaps a young lady in the same era whose home a very fanciful estate where I can go out and ride a horse and come to the kitchen and eat chicken sandwiches and lemonade and wander about the beautiful garden and go to the large library. On the other hand, I would like to be someone in World War II and the Civil War to personally taste, to some extent, a bit of the trials suffered in order to understand these things and those who suffered through these things and things like this better. I would also like to be a random passerby in India in the 19th century to see my ancestors and find out all my roots and see what India was like then. I'd like to be the girl Jesus raised from the dead.

2. My favourite real monarch is hard to say. I haven't studied monarchs enough to 100% say. I have to say King George VI and Queen Elizabeth II, from what I have read/heard of them. I read a bit of Queen Wilhelmina of the Netherland's autobiography, Lonely But Not Alone, and enjoyed it. Fictional monarch.... this is much easier. From the ones that come to mind, High King Peter the Magnificent, King Edmund the Just, Queen Lucy the Valiant, King Lune, and King Cor. (when he became king in the future.) Aragorn/Ellesar, too.
