^haha your spoiler is awesome Ithilwen!
One of my wishes came true recently, I got a more upgraded laptop and it's awesome!
Long Live King Caspian & Queen Liliandil Forever!
Jill+Tirian! Let there be Jilrian!
^^ Congratulations!
A wish of mine came true, too. I wanted my own desktop computer, instead of a laptop... and I got one!
There should be a thing on here, like in the prayer requests thread, where when something your wishing or praying for happens, the mention of it in the old post gets put in bold or is a different color, etc. Haha, that would be cool.
Although the ones about time travel, etc. would probably never be put in bold I'm afraid...
I wish we could use different fonts in our NarniaWeb posts. That would be awesome....

Oh, Riella, Itaril is only being added in the movie. I don't think there were any females in Hobbit other than maybe extra elves or hobbits, if my memory serves me correctly. (I don't even think they mention females, but of course there would be some.)
RLH, I wish Peter Jackson made sequels to LotR w/ the later history in it!! Maybe that would sell well after Hobbit is done and LotR is all over w/ for people, then- wham! Guess what? You can get more HOBBITY MOVIES! Buy your tickets today!
I wish!

Hmm... not sure what you mean... but there are female Hobbits in the Shire, if that's what you mean. Lobelia, and Rosie, and Diamond, and Estella are a few mentioned in the LOTR. Unless you're talking about the actual book The Hobbit. In that one, I think Bilbo is really the only Hobbit mentioned at all.
I wish that I owned every Tolkien book ever written. (That one is slowly coming true! )

#1: I want to fly. I want to fly so badly! I fly so frequently in my dreams, I'm convinced that if I ever just suddenly had the power to do it I could "up up and away" without even thinking. When I was very little, I would leap off of high places in the vain hope that maybe I could discover the secret. However, even then I knew it wasn't really possible.
Haha, I can relate to that! When I was about 5 or 6 years old, I went to the top of a hill on a really windy day and sat in a box that had 'wings', and I just sat there for a long time waiting for the wind to get strong enough

I mean in the book The Hobbit I don't think a female is ever mentioned (maybe Lobelia in the very end? But she wouldn't have a big part) so I guess the movie-makers decided that they needed at least one female "hero" character to have a lot of screen time. I'm expecting her to have lots of screen time because look what they did to Arwen's role from book to movie.
*shrinks down as I myself have never even finished FotR* But I think Arwen's role was really lengthened for the movies. I have read The Hobbit, at least!

Is Lobelia the Sackville-Bagginses?? I know she has a first name and there's more than one Sackville-Bagginses but I always just call her that but yeah, she's mentioned in the book and so is Belladonna... but I doubt they'll be in the movie... What I see happening is that the roles of Galadriel and Arwen (possibly, but more likely galadriel) will be expanded to avoid sexist conflicts... and I could see Peter Jackson adding another character for the same reason...
But going back on topic I wish that I could learn to lucid dream... and that there was an extra hour in the day

That auditions would be in Jan/Feb as has been rumored...probably not true, though.

I might sound really dumb, but... what is "lucid dream"?
I wish that I could create real worlds, instead of just imaginary ones in books.

I wish that I could meet and become friends with my favorite characters from books.
I wish VotDT was closer to the book. (After all, this is the "Crazy-Things-You-Can't-Help-Wishing-For Blog".)
I wish costumes were cheaper.

Nah, you're not dumb I was just reading a book where one of the main characters did that and then I really wanted to try it, but have failed so far. In basic terms it's being awake when you're asleep..... oh, here's the dictionary.com definition: a dream state in which one is conscious enough to recognize that one is in the dream state and which stays in one's memory
So basically I want to control my own dreams

Sounds really cool! I think I've been able to do that once or twice...
I really wish VDT had been 15-20minutes longer.

I wish I could take some of my favorite dreams, and transfer them onto a screen, so I could watch them again, like a DVD.
BTW, I can already control my own dreams.
