Sam felt himself growing stronger... he was getting super-strength.
Jen found she was able to move super-fast.
Aaron found he was able to become invisible. Not only was Marko getting younger, but he also found he was able to change shape.

But what was hapenning to Tom?

Tom was turning into a golden dragon! He smiled as he morphed into a dragon. then, he picked up all his friends and flew above the mushrooms in a glorious swoop. Jen waved her hands above her head and screamed for joy.

Everyone was enjoying the ride. "Wow," Sam said. "There were so many times I turned into a dragon and hated it; it was so awful. Yet these mushrooms, I believe, have turned you into a good dragon, Tom. The sort of dragon it is a joy to be."

Jen cried with a smile on her face. it was all finally over! after all they'd been through, after all the craziness! they had finally done it!
Sam smiled as Dragon Tom swooped out over a large lake. it was good to be done with the adventure.

The group always remained friends. They had long and happy lives. Their powers came to great good, and were never a curse to any of them, nor to anyone else. And although they did go on more adventures, they were not the terrible adventures that they had suffered from during their journey -- but rather joyous ones filled with heroism and happiness.
