Jen stared at Andrew. "What's going on?"

Andrew smiled. "You are seeing all the things you have done since you last met me."

Sam smiled. "I missed you, Andrew."

Andrew just shrugged.
Just then -

Andrew noticed Tom nearby. "Hey," he commented, "You look familiar..."

Tom nodded suspiciously and noted "Yeah, I feel like we've known each other for a long time..."

Then, it hit both of them: they knew each other because...

They had met long ago in their tree-house to read this very book they were now living in!

"Ok," Jen said, "It's time that we got out of here."

"Not yet." said Whitesnow, rather mysteriously.

"First," Whitesnow continued, "You must show me proof that you caused no permanent harm to this land. Many people come and go here, especially in these particular parts. And hardly any mean well. They only seem innocent at first and, later, we discover their true intentions -- after it's too late. This time I must be sure while you are still in my grasp."

"Is squishing spiders a permanent harm?" Jen inqured.

"No, the spiders are horrid creatures who make everything misreable and deserve to die. Why do you ask?" Whitesnow admitted.

All five travelers pointed at the spider that was squished under the UFO.

Whitesnow gasped. "This cannot be!"
She stood up and zapped Aaron with a bolt of lightning.

"What was that for?" Sam demmanded as quickly catched Aaron as he passed out. Then he remembered the book.

"FLUFFY!" Whitesnow cried as she ran toward the dead spider. "My beloved pet Fluffy!"

Whitesnow cradled the dead spider in her arms. Jen gave Sam a look which clearly said 'we need to get out of here- now!' But Whitesnow wiped away her tears and turned to glare at Jen.

"Now, you shall never leave!"

And then the worst thing yet happened.

Whitesnow stormed over to Sam and slapped his face. He fell, out cold.
jen ran to his aid, but Whitesnow reached for her.
But Tom was quicker. he pulled Jen out of the way and then -

Sprayed her with pepper spray.

"How does that help?" Aaron, who was now awake, shouted.

Tom snickered, "Don't you remember the book? This is her weakness!"

Instantly, Whitesnow began to...

--melt into a pile of whip cream. "Curse you!" were her last words.

"Well," said Tom. "That was an adventure. What now?"

"I think we should go home." said Jen.

"Wait!" said Tom "What's that on the horizon?"

Tom pointed to a speck in the distance that was coming closer.
Jen suddenly screamed and fainted.

It was Horror Gas!

"Jen, Jen, are you okay??" screamed Aaron.

Whitesnow's whipped-cream stuff floated up into the gas and came back in another form, as a-
