"If they're anywhere they are there," Thomas pointed to a giant forboading mountain. "but you can only reach the top if you can fly."

Sam looked at the mountain. It's peak was covered by clouds, and its base sunk beneath the ocean on all four sides.

Sam looked down, sadly. "But I can't fly." How could he rescue his two friends?"

"Ah, too bad," said Thomas. "But, good news -- I can!"

"But your a penguin..."
"So what?"
"Your a flying penguin?!"
"All penguins fly."
"They don't where I come from," Sam said.

"Then you come from a very strange land, my friend," Thomas replied with a laugh. "If you hold onto my legs, I can take you with."

"But... I'm too heavy for you."

"No, you're not; don't be ridiculous! man, the penguins in your world must be weak, pathetic creatures..."

"Hey, they're awesome swimmers!" Sam said in his world's penguins' defense.

Thomas laughed. "Call me Tom," he said as Sam got on his back.
Sam shook his head. Oh how he wished to only be dreaming so he could wake up and find that everything was normal again. But what was normal? He didn't know anymore.

As Sam took hold of his legs, Tom took off. As they flew, the penguin asked, "Smimming, huh? Ugh, I thought as much -- very unsophisticated. Your world does have nasty creatures, that's all I can say."

Sam just stared ahead. "There's some nice creatures.....But I have to say, flying penguins are pretty awesome."
Tom grinned. "I Have a feeling you and I will get along really well!"
Just then -

"I suppose kiwis can fly here too!"
"Wait the fruit or the bird?"
"The bird..."
"No, but the fruit can."

Sam noticed Tom was wearing shoes. "Why do you wear those?" he asked.

Tom replied, "That's what all sophisticated animals wear, of course. Which is what I am. And don't you forget it."

Sam just stared. "What? fruit can fly here?"
he was officially freaked out now.
Tom laughed. "I think your world could use some reinventing!"
Suddenly, Tom began to drop from the sky.

"AHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Sam screamed.
"Relax, I was just practicing my swan dive. Do you like it?" Tom leveled back out again.
"Don't do that again!" Sam cried hysterically.

"Well, that's not very poilte," Tom told him. "And I've been practicing. I thought it was quite good."
"Just... get me safely on the ground."

Suddenly the broke through the black clouds. The world became dark.

Sam hyperventilated all the way until they landed on a field with purple grass.
