Sam knelt next to Jen. "Jen! Jen!" he didn't respond and in anger he charged at Jonoby. Suddenly a silver sword appeared at his side so he could slay the caterpillar. But then...

Jonoby jumped and landed on Sam, pinning him to the ground.
I will drink your blood if you do anything stupid."

"This isn't stupid!" said Sam, and he slew the caterpiller. But before Sam even had time to catch his breath there was a flash of light and Jonoby disappeared! In his place stood Steve! "MWAHAHA!!" yelled Steve, "Thought you could get away that easily did you?"

"Well, yeah, kinda," Sam answered. He lifted up the sword again. "I still have this in my hand! And what can you do against that?"
Steve smiled and said, "Just this--"

Steve pointed his index finger at Sam and lightning flashed out of it, striking Sam in the head. Sam fell to the ground.

"AAAAAHHHHHGGGGG!!!!!!!!" Click screamed as he charged Steve in an effort to protect his fallen comrads (sp?) He thought of Sam and Jen lying unconcious, and then he knew exactly what to do. He made a leap and grabbed Steve by the leg and the two crashed trough the third floor window.

Jen groaned as she began to come to.

"Where am I?" she thought. She saw Sam lying beside her, but didn't seem to recognize him. "What hapenned? Who is that lying on the ground, and why is he unconscious?" trying to think back, she couldn't remember anything...

Jen saw Click fighting Steve and fainted again.
Sam groaned. "What?"

Click shouted, "Save yourselves! Escape while you still have time! I'll keep Steve busy while you run!"
But coming towards them from the other direction was Alice-Jane...

Sam came fully awake at the site of Alice-Jane. Without thinking. Sam ran toward her. She grabbed him and flung him aside.
Then she ran to Jen's still form and reached out her hands.

Just as she was about to grab Jen, suddenly Alice-Jane screamed and disappeared in a poof of smoke. In shock, Sam stared at where Alice-Jane had been standing. What had happened to her?

"Look!" Clicked cried. Steve had likewise disappeared. Click, who had suddenly changed back into a human, pointed up at...

A black cloud that was rising from the ground. Steve's and Alice-Jane's faces were in the cloud and both were laughing.
Sam stood, gaping in fear.
"Click, what do we do?" he cried.

"The only thing we can do," Click replied. "Find the Ultimate Kavronian Jopper Device. It's all that can save us now."
