They appeared in a lavishly decorated room with a large four poster bed in one corner, and a painted stain glass window in the wall. There were tapestries and carpets, and a oak writing desk. The doors to a balcony were swinging in the breeze and Jenine gripped Sam's arm tightly. "This place is beautiful....but it's so quiet"

Just then a young woman stepped into the room from the window and looked alarmed at seeing them. Pressing a hand to her chest she stepped back. "Who are you?"

Jenine said: "Hi! I'm Jen, and this is Sam!"

The woman said, "My name is Lya."

"I'm the princess of this land" she said "Why are you here in my room?"

Sam cleared his throat and bowed. "I'm sorry Your gracious highness. We...we...wished to be here"

"Wished to be here? Whatever do you mean? Explain yourself or I'll call the guards!" Lya said distressed

"Well," Jenine started. "We were pulled into this land of yours and then my friend Sam and I got separated. I met this leprechaun in the woods who gave me these three wishes and.."

Wait." Lya spoke stern. "Did this leprechaun have a blond beard and no hair?"

"Yes"

"And how many wishes did you use?"

"All of them." Jenine said looking impatient and wanted to finish her story on why they got there.

"You foolish!" Lya tried to calm herself down. "Don't you know what you have done? He is no typical leprechaun, but a fierce dragon that had been put under a spell. You have unleashed evil."

Jenine's face fell and she looked to Sam who seemed to be skeptical. Stepping forward, he spoke "How do we know we can trust you!? You may be lying to us!"

Lya gasped indignantly. "I wouldn't lie to you!" she flounced forward picking up her dragging skirts. "For many years that little thing has been harassing our people, asking them to wish! We all knew his secret though! Fools!"

Jenine's face grew redder of frustration after being called a fool too many times. She didn't believe the princess because she was too harsh to be good.

There was a rumble coming from the floor and then there came a clamorous sound of a roar.

Lya screamed as the floor below them crumbled and collapsed and they went falling down below. When the dust settled, and the rocks had stopped falling Jenine looked about.

"Sam!" Jenine cried. She waited a few seconds for his response.

"Over here!" It was a voice but it wasn't Sam's. Jenine followed the voice and it was Princess Lya bending over trying to lift Sam out of ruins. Jenine went in to help him out too.

They drug him from the rocks and laid him on the cold stone floor. Princess Lya wiped a hand across her brow dotted with beads of sweat. "Is he alright?" she asked and Jenine bent over him

"I don't know..." Jenine said, noticing he was still breathing.

"This is all your fault you know! You awoke the evil and now our world will fall apart" Lya said then sunk down to sit on the rubble

"Well it sure is you fault for not killing this evil in the first place." Jenine said sarcastically without giving Lya any eye contact. "What kind of a princess are you anyway?"

Lya ignored Jenine and looked as if she were about to start crying but kept her face stern. Sam was starting to wake up again with a few coughs.

"Sam?" Jenine whispered, cradling Sam's head on her lap.

"Jen? What happened?" Sam looked pale.

Jenine glared at Lya. "Ask her."

"None of this is my fault!" Lya threw her hands up. "It was my aunt who did the spell not me. I don't even have my powers yet."

A loud roar was heard closer then the first.

This startled Jenine. "Where is your aunt?"

Lya shook her head. "She took off far away after I took the throne here three years ago. I must seek her."

"We will all go." Sam said as he sat up.

Lya took a step back. "No, wait....."
Jenine glared at her so hard that she fell silent.
"We'll go or we won't leave you alone!" Jen took Sam's hand in hers.
"Lead the way."

Lya looked down. "Alright, I will take you."

"But first," said Lya, glancing up with a suddenly fierce look in her silvery eyes, "We must find the Eloneth."
"The what?" asked Jenine.
"The Eloneth is the only weapon that has the power to vanquish this evil."
"Well then, why haven't you used it before?" said Sam after a pause.
"We know not where it lies," replied Lya.

Jenine growled in frustration. "This is impossible! You are impossible!" she said glowering at Lya

Lya jutted her jaw out. "Well it's not my fault you came here in the first place! It's yours! Stop blaming me! Your just a spoiled bratty girl who's unfair!"

"Me? ME!?" Jenine cried stepping toward Lya but Sam came between them

"Stop it girls! Stop it please!" he said, then looked at Lya "Now my friend isn't spoiled, but your right. This isn't your fault either"
