Just before Samuel expired, Aaron gathered his small courage about him, leapt forward, and stabbed the Giant Swiper in the leg. The monster dropped Samuel's bruised body with a ferocious yowl. Jenine was slowly recovering from her swoon and crawled to Samuel's side as Aaron set off as fast as he could with Swiper right behind him.
"Samuel! Oh Samuel, please live, please" Jenine cried.

Suddenly there was a giant flash of light, that blinded Jenine. When it faded she could see that Samuel had magically healed.
"Oh Sam!" she creid.

Meanwhile Aaron was running for his life. He suddenly came to the edge of a cliff...

.....and had no choice but to jump over the edge! But as he did, he suddenly grew wings and he flew over the gorge and turned back to where Jenine and Sam where.

"Ok... That was weird" Aaron said before he droped to the ground and his wings disapered.

Jenine said, "Aaron, can you save Sam?"

Suddenly Sam got up and flew around.
"Hey, I'm alive!" He procceded to do sumersaults, and then he crashed headfirst into a tree...

"Ouch," he said as he picked himself up. "That was dumb of me." He looked at Jenine. "Who are you?" he asked.
"Oh, no, he's lost his memory," [Aaron] groaned.

Aaron looked helplesssly at Jenine.
"Sorry, Jen, I can't do anything about memory loss."

Jenine turned pale as she watched Sam try to eat his shoe. "What are we going to to with him, Aaron?"

"I have no idea." They helped Sam to his feet as the sun began to set. The three moons shone brightly that night. The two eastern moons were full, and the western moon wasv a beautiful cresent.

As Sam pointed to one of the moons, mumbling something about the pretty light hanging in the sky, Aaron started thinking.
"There is a magician who can cure memory loss," he told Jenine.
"Great! Where is he?" Jenine asked.
"Well, I'm not exactly sure, but..."

"I think he lives exactly fourteen thousand five hundred and seventeen leagues away in the middle of a hollow tree."
Jenine stared at her friend in distress. "That's a long ways to go on foot. Wherever those wings came from, they appear to be gone for good now. What should we do?"

Aaron, to Jenine's shock, sat down and took a bottle of water from his pocket. "I'm going to take a rest now." He layed back and took a slurp from his water bottle and then went to sleep.

Jenine got so mad that she.....

...poured the rest of the water all over Aaron's head. But it didn't help, because the faries had enchanted the water, and when Aaron drank it he was cast into a sleep that would last for three days.

Jenine sniffed the flask suspiciously. Right away she realized what she had to deal with. She was stuck with the snoring Aaron and the amnesiac Samuel (currently choking on a shoelace) in the middle of nowhere...

.....and she saw, to her horrer, that there were fairies flying toward them!
Jenine could have cried, she was so frustrated. But there was no time for that. It was up to her to save the comatose Aaron and the amnesiac Samuel! But what am I to do? she wondered.

She decided quickly that the only thing to do was to blowtorch the fairies using her dragon fire if they tried anything. She had been hoping that it would not come to this- Jenine is a very gentle young dragon.
When the fairies arrived and said in their tingly voices "You are now are captives. Come peacefully" she exhaled a huge burst of flames.
But - the fairies weren't burning!
