Spotto! I have a wall plaque made from a long slab of Cornish slate with five blue tiles down it (with a semi-abstract pattern on them that looks like views of the sea). One day a few years ago it fell and the lowest tile broke in a neat line across one corner. Fortunately it was such a clean break that, with some strong glue, I was able to mend it so perfectly that you can't see the join unless you're very close up and know where it is. I was very pleased with that.
Spotto for a keepsake passed down in your family.
"Now you are a lioness," said Aslan. "And now all Narnia will be renewed."

Spotto! We have an old music centre that my husband made with only a little bit of help from myself, decades ago. In it there are two little crystal jugs, one of which my grandmother said belonged to her great-grandfather's first wife, one Anne Skelthorne, who married a sergeant in David Collin's marines, called William Gangell, on 18/3/1804 in Government House at Hobart. This was the first couple to be married in Hobart. The ceremony was performed by the Rev Robert Knopwood, which the Lieutenant Governor, David Collins, himself, witnessed.
Widowed when Collin's little 1803 expedition set up camp at Sorrento, now part of Melbourne, Anne Skelthorne had one daughter, Mary, to her first husband plus about 5 or & others to her new husband before dying in 1816.
