This sounds circular, but someplace very homey, ideally with a good kitchen and library space and a couple spare rooms.
What was the last thing you ate?

My mum's famous egg and bacon pie! (I'm back with my parents in Australia at the moment.)
What are your favourite flowers?
"Now you are a lioness," said Aslan. "And now all Narnia will be renewed."
(Prince Caspian)
Lilacs, lilies-of-the-valley, roses. All three have scents that remind me of my childhood.
Do you like classical music?
"I'm on Aslan's side even if there isn't any Aslan to lead it. I'm going to live as like a Narnian as I can even if there isn't any Narnia." ~ Puddleglum, The Silver Chair by C.S. Lewis
Oh yes, it's my absolute favourite — ever since the time when I was 7 years old and my dad put a tape of Mozart's Eine Kleine Nachtmusik on the car stereo, and I just somehow felt this was THE most wonderful music I'd ever heard. Now as a grown-up (well, sort of ), my absolute favourite is the English composer Ralph Vaughan Williams.
Do you have any special holiday / vacation plans for the summer?*
* Or winter, for anyone on the other side of the equator

Not at this point.

Not particularly, I wish I did because there are many places in the world I would love to see and family members spread across the USA that I would like to visit but I have a health condition that makes traveling difficult and not very much fun so I generally stay home.
Would you rather live in an area with a lot of trees or in an area with wide open spaces?
"I'm on Aslan's side even if there isn't any Aslan to lead it. I'm going to live as like a Narnian as I can even if there isn't any Narnia." ~ Puddleglum, The Silver Chair by C.S. Lewis
Hmm, good question. I think it depends on how close the neighbours are together; if they're closer, the woods would provide more of a sense of privacy and freedom, but if they're farther apart, I do like open spaces.
What's one obscure book that you would to see a faithful adaptation of in some form?
God rest you merry, gentlemen,

Some of Diana Wynne Jones's lesser known ones, perhaps The Game, or House of Many Ways.
Do you prefer your seasons to be 'normal' if sometimes uncomfortable, or less extreme?
There, shining in the sunrise, larger than they had seen him before, shaking his mane (for it had apparently grown again) stood Aslan himself.
"...when a willing victim who had committed no treachery was killed in a traitor's stead, the Table would crack and Death itself would start working backwards."
Definitely less extreme! I'm rather relishing the fact that summer in England at the moment is rather cool and rainy. (In fact, winter in Melbourne, when I was back there a few weeks ago, wasn't that much colder.)
Which is your favourite season of the year (if you have one), and why?
"Now you are a lioness," said Aslan. "And now all Narnia will be renewed."
(Prince Caspian)
...Fall probably, although we don't get a very reliable one here! I like the bittersweet vibes of things being beautiful but nature dying off for the year, fiery-colored swan song. I like finally having some coolness to relieve summer but it not being winter cold yet. And I like that there are holidays with good food but that are chill on the social pressure.
What is your favorite breakfast food?
Porridge. Possibly best of all with brown sugar and a sliced banana, but for convenience, I usually go for a microwaveable packet mix that has apple, sultanas and cranberries in it. Yum. (And that distant rumbling sound is probably my Scottish ancestors rolling in their graves. )
What's your favourite sandwich filling?
"Now you are a lioness," said Aslan. "And now all Narnia will be renewed."
(Prince Caspian)
Hm... good question, but I feel like salami ranks fairly high?
What is your favorite cookie or sweet biscuit?
Arnott's Mint Slice (famous Aussie brand). Chocolate biscuits (cookies in US terms) topped with mint cream and coated in dark chocolate. Yummo. I stock up on them every time I go to visit my family in Australia, as they're not available overseas (and sometimes my parents will send me a couple of packets for Christmas or my birthday).
What's your favourite flavour of ice cream?
"Now you are a lioness," said Aslan. "And now all Narnia will be renewed."
(Prince Caspian)
For classic flavors, mint chocolate chip! It has a lot of nostalgia for me. For custom flavors, I remember trying a chocolate raspberry truffle flavor as a special thing from the store. I couldn't find it again after and don't remember what the brand was, but I still think about that ice cream flavor sometimes!
What is the most beautiful name you have ever heard/read/seen?
"I am,” said Aslan. "But there I have another name. You must learn to know me by that name. This was the very reason why you were brought to Narnia, that by knowing me here for a little, you may know me better there.”
Turkish delight (have no ideas what it tastes like but it always sounded magical)
What is the best magical power to have?
