Greetings, fair folk, and welcome to a new game!

In this game, the first person posts a statement like this: This Middle-earth character stole the Ring from Sauron. Then, they post the answer below, in a spoiler box.

The next person guesses who it was, and then they look at the spoiler box. If they guessed correctly, then they post the answer, and ask the next question, putting the answer in a spoiler box. However, if they guessed incorrectly, then they must wait for the next question, to try guessing again. Do not post if you have guessed incorrectly---only correct guesses may be posted. General forum rules apply.

I shall start us off...

This Middle-earth character dies heroically after attempting to steal the Ring from Frodo.

The answer, of course, is Boromir.

This character went with Frodo to the very fires of Mordor.

Although he was a prisoner, my Sam stood right in front of this character and gave him a talking to because of how he was questioning Mr. Frodo.

Hey! That's me! :) Elanor the Fair.

This helper to King Theoden was actually a bad spy from Saruman.

But all night, Aslan and the Moon gazed upon each other with joyful and unblinking eyes.
