Since I haven't (I don't think) posted here before, and I do have five cats, I thought I probably should. :P
First of all there's Quincy. He's a Manx, and his ancestors come from the same place that our family ancestors do - the Isle of Man. Isn't that cool? :P He's been with us for like 8 years, which is a lot longer than Manx cats usually live, so all of my family have a soft spot for him. We keep expecting him to die off, and he's used up at least five of his lives (:P) but he keeps coming back! He's kind of skittish, but has been getting over it these past eight years. :P
Then Bob (General Robert E. Lee). She (yes, I said she) is a gray and white, very cute, very small cat who has been with us for only like three years. She loves to cuddle up on your lap. :)
Fitzy: Fitzhough (agh, I can't even spell it!) is Bob's oldest daughter, and she's black and white. She's very active and small, but will sometimes curl up next to you and take a nap.
Micky: Michael Angelo is another of Bob's children, though from a different litter than Fitzy. He's all black, very big despite being called the Little Black Cat (fitzy, who is much smaller, is the big black cat), and mostly likes to mind his own business and stay out of everyone's way.
Nicky: Nikolay is Micky's brother, from the same litter, and is called the Little Gray Cat (see above, he's much bigger than Bob who is the Big Gray Cat. :P), and it probably the very cutest one of our cats. He's quiet and pretty and likes to nap on your lap.

So - :) That's all I have to say! I love my cats! :D

Here's the video I mentioned, my dog meeting his brother for the first time- same mother, different father. It's a minute long.

But this now comes with sad news. Their mother, a beautiful black dog, just passed away unexpectedly. She seemed to have gotten sick over night. I saw her this afternoon and noticed she looked ill, and not five minutes ago she passed. :(

Neville is so cute! He hasn't gotten the puppy "play with me" down yet, though! I love watching dogs interact!

narnian1; I am so sorry. I feel your pain. I just hope we don't have any more pets pass away. :(

awww Neville is so cute :) he doesn't seem to thrilled with the other puppy though :p
I'm so sorry about the death of their mother, I know how it feels to lose pets suddenly.

Elanor, wow five cats, that quite a bit (question why did you name your cat Bob if she is a female?), I love cats too, it's a little sad we can't keep one :(

We got Lucy a leash and are slowly starting to train her to get used to it, because for now, everytime I put it on she gets all angry. She wears it for ten minutes everyday and we'll increase it to fifteen minutes once she adjusts a bit

Lucy looks so cute with the leash, I didn't even know they had leashes for guinea pigs though. What's it for? to control her, surely not for walks is it? Either way, it's a beautiful picture, and she looks adorable. :)

haha - the age old story. We didn't know when we named her that, and we couldn't undo it. :P And we call her Bobbie sometimes, which works. :)
Lucy is so adorable!!!!

:p yes it is for walks....well sort of. When it is warm out it's good to take the guinea out for some fresh air, but they are very fast and can run away easily, so you put a leash on them to make sure they don't run away. You have to be careful not to jerk the leash though or it may hurt their spine :) I didn't know guinea pigs could have leashes until my friend told me we should get one for Lucy :)

Lol Elanor :p we had a similar story too once, only it was the opposite. We got a parakeet and the store owners told us it was a girl and so we called 'her' Marian. Then three years later Marian got sick and we took 'her' to the vet and the vet said 'actually it's a boy!' :-o shock :p the sad thing is that the same day we found Marian is a boy was the same day he died :( (I came up with a theory that it was from shock of finding out he was a boy, although in real life it was food poisoning). We tried to rename him Alan but even now we still call him the late Mr. Marian :)

wild rose, Lucy doesn't exactly looked thrilled with her new harness and leash! ;)) Not to mention that it's the same size as her! ;)

I would love to see the looks on people's faces when you take your guinea pig out for a 'walk'!!!!! I leash trained one of my cats and people thought that was odd! ;)

it is to big for her right now :) but I was told I have to start training her to it now, cause later it will be difficult :) Even now putting it on her is tricky, I distract her and then have to quickly snap it on while she's not paying attention, otherwise she tries to bite me (and she's got sharp teeth)
Taking her out for a 'walk' will be amusing, especially if we take her out to the park :p *can hardly wait for May to come around*

Oh I forgot to say, Lucy turned two months yesterday :)

Neville turns two months on Sunday! :)
Also, whenever you do take Lucy out for a walk, please make sure to have a camera, pay attention to people's reactions... I'm gonna wanna know what that's like. :p

@wildrose I did that with Patchy a few times, he didn't mind it so much once it was on, but trying to get it on was a pain...

At least he was good and didn't bite, but he did kick... and with rabbits if they kick too hard they can break their own backs. That's why its very important you support their hind legs when you hold them. Unfortunately he grew so fast that he outgrew his leash before I got him used to getting it on. I never did get a bigger one, although I wanted too.
